I am Marine Corps Veteran. My son is serving in the navy. He's a master at arm second class. Neither one of us have been trained by the secret service or anything like it. If my son and I did a ten minute walk through the day before the rally, we would have identified that roof as one of the main areas of interest. We would have made sure to post somebody up there, even if it was hot out😮. We have oversight committees for a reason. But they have no teeth. We constantly see public officials accused of wrongdoing going up before Congress and giving up nothing. We even see them blatantly lying before congress. And nothing happens to them. I have a lot of democrat friends who frankly couldn't give a d***. Most of them don't own guns. It seems they don't understand what would have happened in this country. If trump hadn't moved his head at the last moment. We even see some pundits laughing about it and making jokes. Trump needs to hire Eric Prince. Nuff said.
PS. Why has it been weeks since the event, and we still don't know the name of the commander on the ground?

Well, we learned the USSS counter-snipers weren't using radios. They were communicating with their phones. This is also the first time USSS counter-snipers had been covering the former president for at least a while. Local and state counter-snipers had been doing it before. It's still unclear whether leaving that building uncovered is a breach of protocol. Oh, and there wasn't a person with a "local" radio in the command center with the USSS and the state police.
