Suarez was sent off against Ghana, so he didn’t play against Netherlands. If WC 2010 had VAR, that play where Suarez blocked the ball with his hand would have been ruled offside.
@@AdilAlsuhaim What Suarez did there was cheeky and against the spirit of play, yet completely within the rules, giving his team a chance, however slight, to hang on to their hats and advance. Anyway, the point is, Suarez's level at that time was nowhere near FCB Suarez's; it was Forlán who was the director behind Uruguay's success (and the mastermind coach, of course). Uruguay barely made it even through Ghana; they could not have possibly matched the heavyweights of either Spain or Netherlands (or Germany, for that matter) with or without Suarez. By placing fourth, they had already punched well above their weight. That's not to say, though, it wasn't deserved, and well-deserved it was.

I don't know about 20 left out. But I was waiting for that goal from Haan for sure. And there were a few other belters from that era as well. There was a Scottish goal scored by Archie Gemmill that was pretty special.

2002, classic Rivaldo's goal against Belgium
2006, Spain's multiple pass goal versus Ukraine
And even though you did include 2006 Cambiasso's (ARG) goal against Yugoslavia, to do proper justice you should have shown the entire 26-pass-long marvel of teamwork.
heavily weighted to the last 20 years. missed: half of Brazil's from 1982, Cruyff in 74, Maradona v Belgium, others from 86 incl Belanov and Laudrup, last goal of 1970 WC, and just for the celebration Marco Tardelli
He missed a lot... Definitely, the best goals of the last 3 cups.
@@mango4ttwo635 I am not going to dispute that; my observations begin from 1994.
@@googlestore4830 yup, my problem is with the title of the video
@@mango4ttwo635 let's not forget Baggio goal in 90' ; in my opinion it is still in the top 3 goals of all time in the world cup.
There are really amazing goals in the vídeo, and then is this masterpiece 2:20. The best goal, for the best player of all time. RIP Diego.
Yes
I watched that in real time on Television amazing .
1. Maradona - Argentina - England 2-1 - Mexico 1986;
2. Baggio - Italy - Cecoslovacchia 2-0 - Italia 1990;
3. Baggio - Italy - Bulgaria 2-1 - USA 1994;
4. Tardelli - Italy - Germany 3-1 - Espana 1982;
5. Del Piero - Italy - Germany 2-0 - Germany 2006;
6. MBappé - France - Croatia 4-2 - Russia 2018;
7. Paolo Rossi - Italy - Brasil 3-2 - Espana 1982;
8. Caniggia - Argentina - Brasil 1-0 - Italy 1990;
9. Cabrini - Italy - Argentina 2-1- Espana 1982;
10. Platini - France - Italy 2-0 - Mexico 1986.
Van Persie's goal against Spain is a masterpiece
Brazil’s Carlos Alberta’s goal of 1970 should be added to this collection as the icing on the cake.
RIP Legend Diego, the world will surely miss you
Nice, but how about Juan Quintero’s goal under the wall? 😀
Aww there's nothing happier than to remember watching most of them scoring these goals ❤ amazing goals! I miss it so much!
Rip a legend we will remember forever
Edit. As an Argentinian no way I’m forgetting him🙌
Don’t cry because it’s over, be happy because it happened. Rip Diego 🕊 :(
Yes simple as it is.. Thanks ❤ for not adding unnecessary background music
Amazing goals! But what about Messi’s goal against Iran?
Yeah it is one of the greatest
Corect
Unforgettable goal from Tshabalala, amazing. Thank you South Africa for one of the best WC ever, we miss it.
😂😆 really one of the best WC?
Clearly you didn't watch 1998
@@JesusGarcia-ju7xp I really didn't. But I'm not talking about the games alone. The atmosphere on Africa was on another level.
@@tostv8668 nah dude clearly in atmosphere outside the stadiums was very poor.
@@JesusGarcia-ju7xp Clearly you don't understand what is meant by "one of the best..."
There was no implication that other World Cup events (including your "favourite" '98 World Cup) were not some of the best. If he feels it was one of the best what makes your "opinion" better than his?
@@JesusGarcia-ju7xp well, that's your point of view. I don't know why you think you're an expert about world cups or about WC 2010 in specific, if you were in south africa or something like that and didn't like it but verything related to this WC was iconic. First time in Africa, this goal from Tshabalala in the first game, nelson mandela in the games, the stadiums, jabulani, African supporters, Vuvuzela, Uruguay like a fenix, historical Spanish team, Gana campaign, Gana vs Uruguay game, Diego Forlan on fire, North Korea participating and scoring against Brazil, France and Italy leaving in the group stages, Shakira, Wavin' flag... just amazing. And, I mean, the atmosphere that really matters is the one inside the stadiums. Outside of it it's happening worldwide, not just in one location, and if you didn't like how it was where you where, I loved it here in Brazil :D
@5:25 when Pele was fouled but still scored! Savage!
sensational
This is the best compilation out there. The fact that the tshabala goal and rvp flying dutchman header is here says it all.
Buen video de los mejores goles de Diego Forlán. Ahora si puede subir el video que puso en el título estaríamos felices.
Estaba pensando lo mismo.
Forlan was simply sensational during WC10
Facts bro . Every game he scored a banger
Rest In Peace Diego Maradona❤️🕊
Ya
Watching James Rodriguez's 2014 off the chest left foot goal live on TV was a privilege. What an amazing goal.
Worldcup 2010 was the event of best goals. Thanks to Forlan and other great players
Forlán domina a lista kkkkk jogou muito, poucos lembram.
debe ser uruguayo este.. ni uno bueno de forlan.

Jurgen Klinsmann is always underrated. He has scored a couple amazing World Cup goals! His 11 WC goals in 16 or 17 matches shows how clutch he was when it mattered for Germany 🇩🇪 God bless Klinsi 🙏 ❤

That Van Persie header was a no brainer for sure

but wrong commentary in this video
@@basti2955 yes not the one i remember
That Bergkamp goal was just pure aesthetic 😍
But I miss the goal by Rodriguez for Argentina
That maxi Rodrigues goal is so satisfying
2:20 rip legend 💔🕊
6:21 was beautiful, but Carlos Alberto's goal for Brazil in Mexico 1970 has to be the best I've seen, because every player on the Brazil team touched the ball at least once, and the rest of the Brazil team promised they would get him a goal, and what a goal!
absolutely, this video sucks...so biased and it shows zero football knowledge..
idk if it's one of the best but I love the goal from del piero to germany, it's amazing, the way how it started with cannavaro 2 times, then del piero ran all the pitch to make the goal haha
DENNIS BERGKAMP! DENNIS BERGKAMP! DENNIS BERGKAMP! DENNIS BERGKAMP! DENNIS BERGKAMP! DENNIS BERGKAMP!
The most Iconic commentary for the most skilled goal!!!
This is a great video, crammed with wonderful goals, and for every one that got included, there are 20 that also could've been. But how could you leave out Arie Haan's beautiful long drive for Holland, V Italy in '78...!?
I don't know about 20 left out. But I was waiting for that goal from Haan for sure. And there were a few other belters from that era as well. There was a Scottish goal scored by Archie Gemmill that was pretty special.
@@TheToledoTrumpton:... you mean in the 3-2 Scotland win over Holland in that same world Cup in '78?
@@michaelrawson6261 yeah - it turned out to be not enough to get through. Really just a consolation win.
@@TheToledoTrumpton:... yes, the Scots needed to win by three clear goals.
What "great video". One of the very worst football videos I have ever seen. Terrible list. All goals are from 1998-present. Where is Negrete's goal in Mexico 1986. Pele and Garrincha's solo goals in the 1962 World cup? Carlos Alberto's goal in the 1970 final? Maradona's goal of the century is not first on the list and not complete. Where is Enrique's pass to Maradona and that iconic spin? Where are Hagi's rocket goals. Canniggia's goal vs Brazil? Brasil 1982's 11 greatest goals?
There is so much missing here
you should change the title to best in 2000s
There are some goal in 1900s so it doesn't match
AT LEAST half a dozen of the best goals are missing. Gemmill, Owarian, Haan, Eder, Rivelino, Josimar to name but a few.
Great compilation, really enjoyed it. One notable miss: Owairan's goal for Saudi Arabia in USA 94 against Belgium.
that was a great, Maradona style goal. Incredable!!
Forlán y ❤️ Diego R.I.P los mejores 🙏🏼
Diego? Volleyball is a boring sport
@@1iN2ane stop crying english girl
Carlos Alberto's goal in 1970 World Cup Final match,Brazil vs. Italy, is by far,more memorable than over half of the ones pictured in this video.
