Certainly different from why I come to Buckethead land. But I thoroughly enjoyed it. It put my soul at peace. I only found Buckethead about three months ago when I started my recovery. I need his energy and, I am happy to be a fan.
I’ve been listening to Buckethead’s solo stuff really heavily for about 7 years ( + the GnR stuff on Chinese Democracy) I have always listened to pretty much everything music wise over the years and Buckethead is so insanely good there is not really even anyone out there like him !! he’s Amazing on a guitar 🎸. I’ve played guitar for 37 years and I can tell you this dude is next universe good 👍🏻. And you are going to be a very busy man 😄 but you won’t mind in the slightest, in fact you most likely will love it ! 🤔🤭 The Pikes series he puts out a very deep Rabbit Hole !… Of Awesome mind blowing guitar playing! 😄 at the moment he’s at about 475 albums. It Quite literally covers 10?+ Who really knows how many ? different kinds of of music. Plus he has all sorts of other projects and albums solo and with other famous dudes too ( Les Claypool from Primus etc. ) that are not part of the Pikes series. He can play any style anytime extremely well. Shred your face off (Leave the light on pike ( that one rips if you haven’t heard it !) , Claymation Courtyard, Poseidon pike, Forneau Cosmique , Hold Me Forever Pike #65 in memory of his Mom- is my #1 favourite one ! So hard to pick there’s so many good rip sessions ) , and then play slower acoustic make you damn near cry at other times.. ( Monument Valley Pike , Healing Inside Outside Everyside , Listen For The Whisper, Pitch Dark ,Drifting Ice ) he really can and does play almost any style at different times. Normal Metal , Total Shred ( he’s easily one of the fastest players ever, in the world top ten !( and I’d say he’s in the top 5 ever!) Absolutely Awesome slower Mellow acoustic stuff like the one you just heard , blues , and plays the bass guitar like a crazy madman sometimes. He’s also friends with and records with funk bassist Bootsy Collins ! 😄 he very well may be the greatest guitarist ever! Even after 10 years I am never bored… even just More mesmerized at his skills as time goes by ! 🪣🎸🤯 his music can really help get you through anything and you’ll have the songs to match almost anything you could ever feel at the time, if you dig around in the Pikes ( if it isn’t your thing it’s ok just bump to the next one you will find tons of stuff that you do love! ) Buckethead has probably recorded more music that any man alive ( or dead ) at this point ! 😄 and it’s unbelievable! Bucket 🪣 Quite simply blows everyone else away ! 🤟🏻🤯🤟🏻

But I had no idea of how deep he really is or of how much music he has written. I am only getting started on my journey into Buckethead land.
