I won't ask for subscriptions / likes / comments in videos but it really helps the channel. If you have any suggestions or things you'd like to see please comment below!
Thanks for helping, Anthony. It's much appreciated, take care of yourself.
I really value the way you talk about your thought process and your tactics more than the technical details. I am learning a lot from your videos!
Impressive stuff man. Love your videos. I'm looking forward to the discovery and fix of the real problem!
Thanks for the video, i really enjoy watching your videos 😁
Just wanted to say, it's nice of you to leave the message at 0:28. With the extreme clickbait problems of the platform, it's always nice when someone does something like this, thanks.
heh my note there was more that I believed something when I recorded and later found out it didn't fix it!
This is awesome! I thought uwsgi itself (not your "wrapper" over it) was discontinued though... it's one of my favorite pieces of software ever, I used it a lot!
not that I know of, still gets commits and lots of use
@@anthonywritescode lots of use I know it does (fortunately!), but its GitHub repo and docs state: "Note: The project is in maintenance mode (only bugfixes and updates for new languages apis)". So maybe not exactly "discontinued", but not evolving much either.
as long as your name isnt jia tan. i approve though if your only the intermediate one make sure the new one isnt jia tan XD
loved the Bad News Bears mention!! LOL
I have had a similar problem with Gunicorn. But it was stopping and hanging as long as I am bombarding it with new requests. However after stopping the clients and let it settle for a second and then start to bombard it even more, it responded again
Wait people pronounce uwsgi??? i ussualy just say the letters never new it was like sayable
yeah it's supposed to be a pun on whiskey
Totally get wanting to step back from open source a bit; would love a video of your thoughts on that if that's something you're comfortable sharing!
I've talked about it a lot on stream. I'm not sure it really makes a good video though since it tends to come off as a bit of a pity party despite it being genuine
It's fascinating how sentry uses python, I really would like to hear more about your infra, would be making any video or stream about it, or is it a company's secret?
it's open source you can just read the code
Thank you for your contribution. If you have time please share the details of a maintainer.
I talk about it a lot (and do most of it) on stream -- there's definitely a curve where it's enjoyable but I think I'm mostly in the dreggs of low quality issues now which is not fun
anthonk the serial package maintainer
Good stuff.
Very interesting video🙏
What where the bugs and fixes? I feel unfulfilled (=
soon!
