you should do a video on your 5 favorite mallets or something like that.
Double Helix mallets are the best. They’re also extremely durable. I usually use a combination of the pinks, blues, and greens.
Yo same. Durability is excellent and 4 and 5 are my favorites. I also usually like heavier mallets so the DHs are perfect.

Maybe you could suggesting Marimba One to match their pairs by weight, so the variations would not be a problem
Yes that would be nice! I think a lot of companies have this problem but just less so...
I haven't tried all Marimba one series but I usually find them very "rubbery", especially the soft models. You hear a lot the rubber even in the softest dynamics, and the soft (even medium) models do 't work on the upper part of the marimba
I do agree with this! It's a very 'middle range' series of mallets :)

I feel like the roll test isn't important. Your roll speed doesn't change at all no matter where you are on the markmba, so it only sounds like a proper roll in the middle

First
