Love the Protons but just had my 3rd one crack on me in the past two years. Break in with about 50 swings and then leave in your bag except for game time. Using in BP will be a no no going forward.
These Protons are game only status!!! DO NOT use these for BP hahahahah I haven't swung a hotter senior bat right out of the wrapper, these Protons are gas!!! But they are fragile and will most likely only last about 75 cuts hitting straight bombs and then they go dead-ish meaning you can still hit dingers 300-330 but they wont be bombs 360+ Just my honest opinion.
Got one of these with my brother. Broke in about 85-100 swings. Was pretty good, nothing insane up to that point.

So yeah I can see that…..I had concerns with the 1 oz as well…
If you stay away from the full oz, performance is similar and you will definitely get more durability. Also it helps if you get the ball….
