I personally thought that he was trying to be too precise on the two shots that he missed, with where he was trying to put the cue ball for getting position or shape on the next ball. I would rather ensure that I pocket the previous ball and leave a slightly longer or slightly worse positional shot on the next ball.
Was going to say this. Can’t believe SVB’s shot choice there. Rail first is almost always going to guarantee shape, and some kind of shot on the 10, even if your speed isn’t great.
@@jessedesjarlais6414well, speed control is pretty tough on rail first. But yeah, probably more reliable percentage-wise. But to someone like Shane, hitting the ball full with low left is really reliable, I also like that shot, since it’s easier to let your stroke out. What I found impressive is how he missed the almost full ball contact and hit it thin, thus causing that disastrous position. Didn’t seem to be on his game at all, but even on a bad day SVB is still a really strong player
@@kevinbailey7052 That’s a fair assessment, I think. This Daigle guy seemed to struggle with finding the right speed on various shots overall. This was one example.
Experience. Many other pros would play a simple one rail, or two railer (long rails) and be on that end of business. Perhaps that's the shot he feels most comfortable with. Not one you wanna try on slick, new cloth.

If you wanted to call someone but did not know their phone number, you could look in the book to see if they were listed in there. Or an alternative way of finding out was to call directory enquires and give their name and any other details to help identify them, such as the area where they lived, and the operator would give you their number if they were listed. Nowadays with personal contacts lists and online searches, they are not really needed and have tended not to be since people have moved more to using cell or mobile phones, and as the internet became more popular where phone numbers can be found via search engines or the Contact Us feature on websites, at least for businesses anyway.
That was brutal to watch. I think we've all been there where you make some bonehead concentration error and then can't get it back. But, that's the difference between good and great.

@@mescellaneousdude, you're so confused, lol. All pros break 10-ball from the center and there is no rule that forbids you to break from the side. But if the table is not compliant with center break you have to improvise and move to the side, vary the speed etc, do anything that will give you a chance.
@@tortureyou I know shane plays with extension, but that has nothing to do with it lol, I'm looking at the other guys cue alone without noticing shane cues......you're an idiot dude
I was surprised Daigle went for low left on the 9 when just above center would've been an easier shot and give a shorter distance for the 10 ball to pocket.
Love how he practices the last 2 shots at the end
That's what I was going to say
Always practice your game winners. Never know when u gonna need them next😂😂
Was coming here to say this 😎
Shane hit the "I don't give a damn" freestroke mode. Personally, I think that's when he shoots his best game
Shane on a "fuck it"-stroke😅
I wish I had even a tenth of his “fuck it”-stroke 😅
I'd give anything to be able to spend an entire day with one of these pros and just try to absorb as much knowledge as possible.
Svb is so fun to watch
Pressure ate him up.

Daigle is hard too watch
15:18 This ball was made for a rail-first

Choke Artist 🖼️
That poor guy shit down both legs lol
Really like the female commentator! Good commentary. Anndd really like the non spoiler title. Made me watch the whole video.
Margaret Fifilova
She's not really that great of a player. She has alot of knowledge of the game but can never show it on the table
14:31 Why did he play position on the short side? He should have rolled the cue ball to get shape on the other side. A more natural path.
Only thing I could think is that maybe he thought it would help throw the ball in the hole with the bottom right english

Could listen to Margaret reading a phone book.
Is it Margaret Fefilova Styer?
@@seanscanlon9067 Yes
What is a phone book?

Very Great Match
Hope they will match up against each other in 2024.
Think I would have played that last 9-ball rail 1st (pretty full/thick) with a lot of left, soft... but I'm no SVB
Yeah same
For sure..!
thats what he did on the practice shot post match. looks like he was over the match throughout the vid
Shane tried to give this one away with that miss on the 4 ball...
I think she was being dead serious when she was talking about the pool gods…
Yea, sure
She was, she's not very bright.
Really? Oh my God......pffff
would never bet against Shane’s 10 ball break
Se agarro el cabello cuando fallo esta bola siete
Nice
wowzer
Daigle choked on the last rack's 9. Stress man. Stress.

"He's eating a big chunk of chocolate"
"Ahmmm".
That missed 7 is gonna haunt daigle 😒
That is what happens on Predator tables if you hit too hard without perfect aim. This shot drops on a Diamond
What shot you talking about? Several in there that could apply to your comment.
And isn’t it good that these predator tables require perfect aim?
Lmao damn that dude wet the bed not once by twice
Even though I prefer nine ball matches this was a good one.
It’s not much different. Just no slop and an extra ball
Why is he breaking from the side? He normally breaks it from a little off center
Professionals lol they can read a rack and table conditions pretty well, always good to have a couple breaks in the bag!
That’s what makes Shane the best. He breaks according the table and the rack.

Is it me or is his cue very very short? Not Shane obviously the other guy...I feel his cue is extra-short.
shane plays with his extension on making the other guys stick look short

Daigle has a horrible, jerky, poke stroke, and he pops up his head at the end.
Nah Shane just wanted to make the guy not feel so bad so he purposely messed up. Don't be fooled, that's cpt america for ya!!!
Why was shane pulling the fuck it stroke ??
Shane rail first?
Que frustante.
That is the worst I’ve seen Shane play. What’s going on?

Exactly
Why is she talking?
If your going to commentate at least say 1 thing that’s interesting
Boooo and boooooo
These guys obviously aren’t top ranked pros. I would probably beat them
😂😂😂
You're probably right... That Van Boening guy only has like 100 professional titles under his belt, seems like a scrub.
You could fit a bowling ball in those pockets
Lol the pockets are tighter than snooker pockets base on the size of the balls. Pool balls be big and heavy snooker balls not so much.
Let's see you run racks with these tight four-inch pockets.
Daigle's terrible lmao
