Pepper Corn Steak Stir Fry 🥩
    Serves 2
    Ingredients
    1 lb flank steak
    (Thinly sliced)
    2 tablespoons soy sauce
    (Low sodium)
    2 tablespoons water
    1 teaspoon sesame oil
    1 tablespoon oyster sauce
    2 tablespoon honey
    1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
    1/2 teaspoon baking soda
    1 teaspoon corn starch
    Neutral oil as needed
    4 large cloves of garlic
    1/2 sweet onion
    1 bell pepper
    1/2 teaspoon green pepper corns
    Optional garnish pink pepper corn
    Instruction
    1. Mix together soy sauce, water, sesame oil, oyster sauce, honey, garlic powder, baking soda, and corn starch.
    2. Add the marinade to your beef and let marinate at room temperature for 30minutes
    3. Add enough oil to coat the bottom of your pan on high heat
    4. When the oil starts to smoke add the beef and let sear until it develops some color
    5. Next add minced garlic, crushed green pepper corns, bell pepper, and onion. Continue to sauté until the onion and peppers are softened.
    6. Plate up and garnish with pink pepper corns.

If you’re serving over rice, I’d highly recommend doubling the marinade so you have more sauce in the end product.

I'd say to add a couple tablespoons of dark soy for richness and color but either way, beautifully done

Did you/can you buy your steak already cut like that? I would actually prefer chunks like Panda Express I LOVE them but I might wanna start making it on my own so the easiest way to start is the best.

Hmm, sounds really good and I guess the meat tastes great after that preparation. Adding baking soda seems to be worth trying. The finishing with pink pepper is wonderful, I like that. I once discovered pink pepper berries on the canary islands and always take it home when I am there on holidays.

Where do I find the pink and green peppercorns? Is that like black pepper also but just green and pink I seen people actually tenderize the steak with baking soda so it does make sense but AnyWho thank you for sharing.
