This is one of the regular subzi that we make in my home for chapati. Our recipe has some changes as below. 1) We add little moong dal (for ½ Kg toor dal, just 25 gram of moong daal) while boiling 2) Instead of Garam Masala, we add asafoetida (as my mom does not like Garam Masala) 3) Ginger slices in lieu of Ginger Garlic paste 4) Sprinkle with fresh lime juice just before serving (but while the sabzi is hot enough) Ensure that this is semi-liquid (neither solid not liquid) so that it tastes better! Try this and find the difference in taste! 🎉👍
