His music isn't my cup of tea but I honestly really admire how humble he seems, doesn't take himself too seriously or puts up a fake defensive wall. Loved that he was more then happy to play along with the challenges at the end, most young celebs wouldn't be that forthcoming as they'd be too paranoid it would damage their image.
I met him at his event years ago just as his career was taking off and I can honestly say he always was and still is an extremely humble and kind person!😊 Go Aitch!!!

Kool Herc, who some consider the inventor of hip-hop used to say "it's not keeping it real, it's keeping it right". When hip-hop's influence spilled into soul music and you have this era around the turn of the century when the queen of neo-soul Angie Stone sampled the start "Backstabbers" by O'Jays and turned it into "I Wish I Didn't Miss You", she was keeping it right. Ashanti's first big single was "Foolish", which sampled El Debarge's Stay With Me, not long after it was used by Notorious B.I.G. for One More Chance. I love that tune; she (and Irv Gotti and 7 Aurelius) kept it right.
