Especially since we lost Pat Goss…. I’ve been watching Motorweek since its inception and John’s soothing voice and his demeanor are unequal in the automotive journalism world

The new 7 series lineup took design traits from this, and according to a recent bmw patent the next gen 7 series will have an even larger grill and 1 piece headlights.
Hopefully when Jon Davis retires we can use AI voice generators to replicate his voice and naration style because all the new people are not half as good.
Good point but I think most people in this category aren’t concerned about saving a few dollars as they are normally high income/high net wealth buyers, they also generally turn over their vehicles every few years so reliability when the vehicle ages generally won’t be an issue as they won’t own it then
A BMW this big does not make any sense whatsoever, and it makes even less sense to have this run on gasoline and not diesel... What happened to making actual BMWs? Oh right, corporate greed.
Man good to see Jon Davis still going strong.

He’s a godsend.
He's a legend
Yup 👍🏽
Totally agree.
Whoa. This is quite a performer for a three-row vehicle. Impressive.
From a boosted inline 6 is insane imo!!
For what it’s worth, I think the front looks alright on X7 but not on the 7 series. Seems like an SUV-centric design
Actually, BMW did offer a 3-row SUV as an option on the X5. For example, the second generation offered back in 2007. Otherwise, thanks for the video!
Been watching all the retro reviews and now this. Pleasantly surprised to see Jon is still around!
Saw the Alpina version today in Alpina Green. Stunning.
Wonder how long all that updated tech will work?
So far so good, it's impressive
For as long as you can afford to get it fixed.
@@michaelv6870 🤣🤣🤣🤣. So true.
@@michaelv6870 Of course..
What happened to the interior noise test? Why did they get rid of it? it's really useful info.
NVH is best in class I'm willing to bet!

What the heck! That front fascia is atrocious!
Honestly it looks way better on the X7 than it does on the 7 Series.
I currently drive the previous gen X7, the front fascia looks so terrible on the new one
I have a 2022 X7 as well, but the new ones look ok in all black.
I waited until the new front was in production before buying mine, to each their own.
How many different shades of plastic is on the outside?
One thing not very apparent from the video is its size; these are big SUV's for being a car not intended for rough use from the start.
Happy Monday everyone ✌️
I’ve watched MW ever since the beginning. I don’t remember ever being distracted. The background music has got to go.

No off-roading chops in the X7 as there's no HDC, terrain selection dial/knob/switch.
YOLO-NAS having the highest MaP on the COCO dataset doesn't mean it will perform better than X on one's custom dataset.
Will the next X7 take the design cues from the new 7-Series/i7?
The new 7 series lineup took design traits from this, and according to a recent bmw patent the next gen 7 series will have an even larger grill and 1 piece headlights.
Jon Davis made a deal with the devil. As long as he hosts Motorweek, he will not die.
A great 3-row!…….if you’re hauling a bunch of people only 5’5”!!! ….way too small.
I want one
Looks a lot like a Jaguar from the front.
Nice! 💪🏼
The previous gen looked miles better, if you cover up the grille it looks like a Jeep cherokee

A huge smartphone on wheels, expensive, perishable and annoying.
78,000 Thou Plus Taxes ? 3:17 Only for Wealthy People 😂😂 3:17
People who buy these are selfish. I'm struggling to keep my bank account in the positives. That being said, it's a beautiful vehicle.
Hog snout grill.
Better off with the Mazda CX-90, save a few $$$ & more reliable.

If I`m in the market for an X7, the last thing I cross shop it with is a Mazda, lol.
I've had both, love Mazda products but the X7 is way more reliable
The ttv8 is never over kill.
X7tralarge
Ce BMW X7 est vraiment fait pour les américains : c'est gros et encombrant en plus d'être polluant.
Keep crying 😂
must weigh 6k lbs
Beautiful!👌🥰👍
