Snowy and Peaches are two cockatiels hatched November 2023 and adopted May 2024. They are always together and love chirping, attention, and millet. snowyandpeaches
These ones came from a pet store where their nails and wings were clipped. Since they were not hand raised and had some hard experiences they are more skittish of peoples’ hands. This video is to show a good alternative if your bird is not yet comfortable with your hands to bring them back home to their cage. The good news is recently our Cockatiels are now comfortable enough to step up on our hands to go back to their cage. I do believe it’s a trust thing and it takes time to build.
