- Hello everyone, I decided to make my very own Daddy Cornstar UA-cam Channel! This channel will not be like our main channel, Cole The Cornstar. On this channel we will be having chocolate milk/tomato juice chats and discussions will be based 100% on what you guys want to talk about. Come along for the journey!
The man the myth the legend Daddy Cornstar
Exactly.
I concur..
I love watching your channel brian
When is working words with Bob going to launch?
He has a shirt that confirms this 😂
My husband of 58 years passed away in September. I found the Cornstar channel a few weeks after he passed. I have adopted your family and it has helped me so much. Being a farm girl myself I can relate to the problems and fun times. Take care and love one another.
I'm sorry for your loss IdaDog1000. I'm glad you found the Cornstar family of good, clean fun and family.
So sorry for your loss
Please know we all care for you. Stay strong! Daddy Cornstar will be there too!!
I'm so very sorry for such a loss... my prayers are with you
Glad you found the "Cornstars" they can help all of us in way or another........ 😉
Daddy Cornstar and fam are some of the most genuine and wholesome people on UA-cam. I love his honesty and joy for life
I am a old man almost 80, that was raised on the farm, and life took me a different way. Enjoy your journeys
I'm 44 now. I started my excavating company in '14. I worked for my dad's construction company before I could walk. I lost my dad too in '13. Old age... he was an "older dad". The thing I miss the most about him is his advice... especially when it comes to business decisions... I ask around to trusted friends, and I stumble and trip around, when know dad would have the answer. So I know how it is when pop's not physically here...
CONGRATULATIONS ON CHOCOLATE MILK TIME!!!!
Hey, awesome man!!!! Didn't think Cole was ever going to leave.
🤣🤣🤣
Lol
Love, love, love
Would love to hear some old-school stories from your childhood and memories of your dad, etc.
Send out one of the kids to interview his old high school classmates to find out what really went on.
Yes !!! Let’s talk about the days in foods / the Doritos sure flowed .
I would love to know how you met Mama Cornstar!
As almost a 40 year old man that has never even met my father. It is incredibly wholesome to see you work with your boys. The teamwork and love that you all have for each other really shines through and touches more hearts then all of you know. So thank you for taking time out of your day for us.
Go for it 👍👍👍
@Brady Anderson Oh I bet he would love that. 👀
G'day DC,,
Great idea,
love to see you & MC finally reveal herself ,
You have great advice for the kids ,, sure your channel will be a Godsend for some of the kids doin it tough .
Good luck &
Best Wishes ...

A series on simple "how to's" for us girls without dads would be awesome, too!
And the guys, without dad's! ☺️ I think this is a wonderful idea!
Agreed!
😥 girls without Dad's makes me sad.
Great idea!
Yes!! Start with how to check oil, water, tran fluid, washer fluid!! Then, when that stuff needs to be changed! Ahhh, the mysteries you can explain to us!!
I still firmly believe that the world needs a Daddy cornstar sayings book.
I so agree!
Merch
Agree.
High school vehicle stories. show old photos of farming, kids, events
One of the kids should go out and interview his old high school classmates. Find out what really went on.
Thanks for being a dad that allows his kids to have a say on the farm it’s great
You are a breathe of fresh air, a ordinary man with wisdom and carrying a camera. Way to go.
Momma Cornstar can talk about the life of a farm wife and mother.
I found Cole first, then Summer and now the patriarch himself. Y’all are like the neighbors on every Main St in America!
Happy to see you! Happy to be here!
Oh gosh who else almost cried when he got choked up? ☹️😢 I hope these kids know how lucky they are to have this man as their dad.
Everytime you talk about your dad it reminds me so much of my mom... it's not the same without them, but have to concentrate on the good memories :)
It’s really hard to loose a parent! I miss mine. Loosing my mom was the hardest. I am glad you are going to do your own UA-cam channel. I would love to see more of Momma Cornstar and get her perspective on some things.
Daddy Cornstar: sponsored by Heinz Ketchup, Snickers, and Casey's pizza!
Yes he needs to be sponsored bet them
Oh and chocolate milk
@Ronnie Mozingo "Out dated" Chocolate Milk!!!!
@@beaumershon3066 oh...and don't forget the peanut butter cups...
And Oreo
My son would sneak out his bedroom window at night to cause mischief. I always knew...after he was gone, I would lock his window. So when he came home, he had to knock on the front door. Busted!
I did this as a young whippersnapper. The one night, our new neighbors threw a party and invited my sis and I. Ma said no. So after we went to bed, my sis and I snuck out our window. We made it half way across the road and my mother yells "FeFe! TeTe! Get your asses back here!!!" Everyone at the party heard (lots of people in their front yard) and laughed so loud. 😂 Public mortification is an excellent parental tool at times. 😁
I just love daddy cornstar such a good father and person.
I lost my dad 40 years ago. I maybe a smidgeon, or more, older than you, I suspect. The pain of loss is always there. It is something you learn to live with. And you adopt another dad as life goes on. Daddy Cornstar, you've been adopted. You've brought me joy.
A part of your dad is still there, he's in you and your boys.
Super excited about this! You're amazing DC! Can't wait to see more! ☺️🙌🏼
I love watching your channel nave
🥰
@@mommacs6159 are you actually her?
@@theslashmanrc7503 actually who ?
@@mommacs6159 Momma Cornstar.
I’m so excited for this. You’re like “America’s” dad. We desperately need more involved fathers. I have 5 sons of my own. I only have a small 20 acre vegetable farm, I wish I could do it full time like you. I hope to do as good of job with my sons as you have done with yours.
I agree. I’m 71 and look at Daddy Corn Star as an example. Love his sayings and great sense of humor!😊
💯
I'm so excited. Thank you for sharing with us.
Invite your neighbors over for "chocolate milk" chat around your shop table!
I LOVE this idea haha!
this would be good!
Great idea 💡 👍
Yes! Great idea!
What to talk about? Stories from your childhood, talk about your dad, things you have learned that help you now, tips and tricks that have helped you farm, subjects you like, answer fan questions, advice from momma cornstar, life advice and things you do to keep your marriage and family life important, but also just you getting your work and your day done. Save up a few fan mail items and do a segment where you open those items and thank the senders. Fans like to see you open their stuff. Remember to make notes as ideas come to you. Once a week or so is fine until you get used to the format and things you want to do in your videos. Congrats on the channel! We will be watching! Thanks for letting us be part of your day!
We are so happy for you! You make me and my wife feel like we're part of your family. We love the interaction and that you are yourself. I have learned so much about what it is like running a large farm operation. Really enjoy seeing things in action and how things are repaired. Good Luck from Connecticut!
Every time DC talks about his dad I get all teary eyed! I can’t imagine DC sad, it would just break my heart.
Bless D.C. If you watch and listen when he speaks of his Dad, he momentarily pauses and looks at the ground with memories stirring of him.
@@tomb.1972 Me too, I have so much love for Daddy Cornstar's kind gentle nature and the sincerity and love he shows for his father. I'm so going to love watching this channel.
Long overdue. Everybody needs a little Daddy Cornstar in their life 💛🌽🌟
I'd love to see pictures of and hear stories of Grandpa Cornstar. He sounds so awesome from what we have heard about him.
That's a great idea! I would love to hear about little Daddy Cornstar.
That would be cool maybe some old farm pictures
Nice hearing you talk about your father. My father combined in the fall, had a sore neck but finished it all... I buried him the following May after surgeries and cancer treatments... The circle of life is so wonderful when a baby comes but not so fun when our elders leave us. Take care.
Interesting that you mentioned having a hard time when your father passed. I’m about your age, just turned 53. As you grow older, there are some things that you start to notice. One is that men sometimes have a hard time when their father dies. A friend of mine purchased a building not long ago that belonged to a father/son plumbing business. When the father died the sons had a fight, locked the door for 30 years. He had to liquidate “brand new” 30 year old parts. Another example of someone who had a closet drinking problem and became a raging alcoholic after his father died. Point is, it really affects us men when our fathers pass. Mine passed just a year ago this month. On our yearly thanksgiving get together the year before he died he prayed a powerful prayer over us and the meal. Keep in mind that he was starting to get senile and barely recognized us, yet other than a slight slur his words were stong and powerful. It was as if he was passing on “the blessing “ and it helped us cope with his passing months later.
I appreciate the new channel. Us older folks enjoy hearing about your growing up on the farm and sharing your knowledge on every subject you want to talk about.
You could even cook with momma cornstar! Some of the meals she’s made look really good when you’ve shown them on cole’s channel
100% need this!!!
I got three seconds into the video, paused, liked, and subscribed. It is Daddy Cornstar, I am going to want to see every minute of it.
You've came a long way with your comfort level on camera while still remaining your humble self.
As long as you stick to that formula of always being you I see success for your channel in the future for years to come.
As I always say God Bless our Farmers as they are the backbone of our Great Nation...
Amen.
It will be nice to see more of your perspective of farm life and how it is now compared to how it was when you were younger. It will be nice to meet Mama Cornstar and see the other half of the team that raised such great kids!! : ))
Daddy cornstar. You are an inspiring person. The world needs a lot more thank you very much for being yourself. Keep up the amazing work👍👍👍
I hope the cat has plenty time on camera! It’s great that you share your life experiences. Keep it up DC
From one old man to another--It's about time. I have my Oreos and chocolate milk ready--let the fun begin!
Mom of 6 here, our kids had to come into our room and tell us they were home.
I personally love when you tell stories about when you were growing up and when you tell stories about your dad. I think he was the start of the cornstars so he is a part, too.
Daddy, It's your channel. "IT'S YOUR THANG, DO WANT YOU WANNA DO!"
I love how you enjoy interacting with all the animals and pets ♥️
The cat needs to co-star
Cam on the cat
@@Mike-ub1tc that would be fun to watch!😊
After a 30 year career in police work I really enjoy watching all you farming UA-camrs. All great families. Good luck on your channel. I'll be watching!
I just love listening to you talk, your rambling speaks to my heart.

You should call your segments “The chocolate milk minute” and “Tomato talk time”. Can wait for some more videos!!
One man One cat One glass of chocolate milk could only mean one thing
one bottle of Heinz ketchup?
Hi DC..you are such a joy to watch so just be you..the more real and natural you are doing your everyday chores, the more interesting, loving and popular your channel will be..personally I’ve learned a lot about farming through you all and how difficult yet heartwarming a job it is..we love you and your family DC and look forward to seeing more of all of you doing what you were born to do and that is to be successful farmers..many blessings to you and your family. ❤️🙏🏼👍🏼
sounds good D C you make farm life so interesting
Definetly tell us how you met Mama and all that history!
Pop Quizing with Daddy Cornstar!. I know you give Mama credit, but your kids really show what great parents you two are!
Good luck with the new show 😁
Thanks for starting the channel Daddy Cornstar. Being in my 20s and having lost both my parents in the past few years, I appreciate watching you and hearing your wisdom. In a way I see you as my "youtube dad"
*Congratulations! I'm officially a huge fan!*
I love to hear your stories. My favorite are when you and Cole share your faith. As someone who struggles from time to time I can always go back and listen and feel peace. You are an awesome father. Looking forward to you talks.
DC, you're an influencer, I just wanted a glass of V-8 after I saw you chuggin the tomato juice !

My Mom got cancer when I was young and suffered for years and passed when I turned 21 , I was bad place at 27 I was homeless ,fast forward 33 years I have a beautiful home "paid off" a wife I love and we are financially secure and healthy .After my first marriage and being homeless was my turning point ,so anybody that thinks they can go on trust me !
Subscribed! How’s it feel to be more entertaining then anything on actual television. Good hearted ,clean and funny
Absolutely!!!! We don't turn the TV on at the end of the day, we turn on UA-cam.... Watching farming, tool restoration, history, etc. is way more interesting than anything on TV.
AWESOME! You keep being you. Keep the stories, add some more history (photos are great). You'll be fun! Have fun! Thanks for doing this.
I love all you cornstar folks!!
Your love of Christ shows in all you do. Keep the faith and keep filming :)
I’d like to hear Momma Cornstar’s perspective on farm life, and learn a little bit more about Iowa. A scenic tour on those snowmobiles perhaps?
Here’s a little about Iowa, It has Corn. It has beans It has snow. It has Tornado’s. It has a lot of farmers

Totally agree! I'd buy DC's merch. (Feels funny saying"merch").

I see how your Dads death effected you. I get it. My mom died in 2016 and I still have moments I just stop and tear up because I miss her so much.
Me too but for my grandpa
My Dad died on Jan 30, 1998 from cancer. I still have moments of sadness too. Sometimes they come right out of the blue. I don’t think we ever stop missing our loved ones. 😓
I’m dreading the day.

Love your channel DC. I sold out my farming operation in 1992 when financials were very tough but successfully survived. Thanks for reminding me of why I loved to farm, raise cattle and trucking. "Grab the Bull by the tonsils"!!!
It’s so great to see you have your own channel. My granddaughter wanted to give you a hug, when you spoke of your dad’s passing. She saw how your were feeling. Looking forward to your channel growing

DC is such a lovable character...just compiled them per video.
Especially thoroughly embrace his shootin the beans at "Chocolate Milk Time". For many of us it's a warm rememberance of the 'gems' expressed by our own wise/humorous family members past/present.
And I would dare to say it may even be a gentle guidance, thoughful concepts for those that did not have a warm guiding hand during their lives.
Love, peace and much happiness to the family.
Love hearing that Daddy Cornstar wisdom.
I enjoy watching homesteading channels, started with Arms Family Homestead, Jimmy Houston, Cog Hill Farm / Podcast, Cooking with Brenda Gantt (FaceBook) & Walker Family Farm. Just recently came across your son's channel and your channel. I like watching real people living real lives, reminding us that none of us are perfect people!
I would like hearing your stories and your wife's stories!
I have quit watching network TV, pro sports, mainstream media, and Hollywood actors pretending to be something they can never be. Love seeing your honest, humble, humor, easy laugh, positive Altitude!
👍😉👍 God Bless your Family and Friends!🙂
I found myself just smiling while I was watching you. You got this! Its gonna be a great channel!
I get to see Daddy Cornstar twice as much!!!
Yes! Love this idea and your personality, you seem like a very genuine and caring person and a great father and role model. Thank you for making this channel and sharing with us.
I love that you have your own channel and I can’t wait to see Momma cornstar. I’m so excited. ❤️. You have so much wisdom, you’re quite entertaining, sweet and genuine.
Gotta Love Daddy Cornstar just be you, then the channel will be a great success.

Would like to hear more of history of the farm and your Dad.
Daddy Cornstar is awesome. Funny, interesting and humble..👍👍👍
I remember when my dad passed. I got trapped for a while thinking about how unwell he was at the end. But their lives were a whole lot mpre than that.
Awesome! Great job daddy cornstar! Can you add more of your kitty cat. I just love him😘
Congratulations on the beginning of your UA-cam channel. Can't wait to see what you come up with next!

Yaaaaas!!! Me and my 10yr old son Love you DC!!! You have no idea how much you and your family have helped us during the last year. In the UK we are on our 3rd lockdown now & 2nd of homeschooling and it’s really hit my son hard. He loves watching you and he has learnt so so much about farming & machines! You make him laugh!
Thank you xxxx
I have a friend who says things off the top of his head, just like you do. He says that he is goofy, but he is in reality a very smart, caring man. You come accross as nobody's fool when you need to get get things done, also. I understand losing your thought when you are speaking, the mind was once described as the ram on a computer, it holds alot of info. The info is stored in random places and the more info that is stored, the longer it takes to retrieve it. That is why you (and I) have to gather our thoughts at times. I am 65 years old and know alot, but because of this, I sometimes have to pause to let my brain catch up with what I'm saying. I look forward to seeing your videos, since, I try to follow Cole regularly on his. When are you going to get the Massey Ferguson's right front axle assembly repaired? It's been awhile since it was brought into the shop.
