If Everton faced Liverpool on the originally scheduled date of March 16 or so for the Merseyside Derby, it would’ve been a sound beating by them because of how in form they were. Instead they played in the FA Cup and lost to Man United, which was the beginning of the slide they are currently on.
one of the players of the team liverpool were playing that day, michail antonio, said the argument happened because klopp wanted to give a "good luck hug" to salah as he was subbed on, but salah instead gave klopp a high five and klopp thought salah was insulting him by ignoring his hug
To be fair Luke I don't think the Salah/Klopp incident is that big a deal, their title challenge died against Everton, Liverpool for the last few weeks just look exhausted, the Klopp/Salah thing was probably just frustration from both guys boiling over, yes its a bad look (those things should be kept behind closed doors), buy I think people are making too big a deal over it, theyve probably talked since, when they've calmed down, and if it was just frustration they've probably put it behind them....oh yeah and I'm an Arsenal fan, wasn't the North London derby a beautiful thing 😂
@Z.A.N.E19 thing is I've been a coach (albeit at a much lower level) you have to understand that sometimes players get pissed off, ideally they vent behind closed doors, on the touchline isnt a good look, there's a difference between a player being frustrated with something relevant to the game (its a natural response when things arent going the right way, they're only human) and him just being a prick, best thing to do if its just frustration is have a chat to them when they've calmed down, clear the air and move on, given Mo Salah's career I imagine it wasn't just him being a prick, personally I wouldn't mind if a player would question something "Gaffa, why are we doing that?" If I couldn't answer him, I wasn't doing my job right, or maybe they could see something I couldn't, so I encouraged them to ask questions (as long as it was relevant) yes I'd come up with a tactical plan, but they were playing the game, perhaps they'd see something I didn't, we were all trying to win at the end of the day, I'd have been a fool if I didn't consider any new information that could potentially help the team
The reason Klopp benched Salah wasn’t because of his workrate. It is because Salah hasn’t performed after his injury, same with Nunez(He’s not been injured tho). Also i think the incident between Salah and Klopp is just Frustration that’s built up after the past few games and not really a big thing.
We got silverware AND back in the EUFA Champions League. We were middle of the table last campaign and this year we were in a title race. In January our starting XI were out with injuries. “What are we gonna do about that?” Why even ask that question? All you can do is badmouth a team as they hit a slump at the end of the season.
Klopp and the management made a mistake announcing that he was leaving . He should have said it after the season ended . They brought unnecessary pressure on the team and Attention
@@Katkayzyou can not simply believe it was only Klopp decision. It was talked over with management and this was the solution they agreed on.And it worked it motivated a team with lots of main players injured.Once the old players came back they performed worse than the kids and got frustrated and the rest is history.
watching liverpool crumble during klopps farewell tour is beautiful actually, hard to respect a coach who quits on their team midseason, time for spurs to get spursy
After Klopp, Liverpool will pretty much disappear from the Top 4 once again like they did from 09-2016. You love to see it. Their fans call themselves the greatest club, yet City and Madrid basically own them.
Wonder what his legacy will feel like in a decade's time. With only one league title, he's behind Mourinho and Wenger as well as SAF and Pep, though a CL does put him ahead of other 1 time winners. He did come close second a couple of times but history does not remember runners up
Luke, I could understand someone growing up watching football and hating Real Madrid, could you explain to me you as a new football fan who ended up hating Real Madrid, how did you develop this dislike for the greatest football club in historiy?
I’m sorry if I give off the impression that I hate Madrid. So far, the only clubs I hate are PSG and Arsenal. Barca is my favorite Spanish club though that’s true.
Luke, as a 64 year old Liverpool supporter - gosh you spoke far more sense than many British commentators
Congratulations mate, you have graduated to true football fan now you are talking more sense than the pundits

Yeah, Liverpool is done. We just need City to slip up and we will pounce on that title. 😂
You think City are going to slip in a title race. There's a higher chance pigs grow wings
@@chubz6211 I have to remain hopeful.
Anything can happen in football so worth being optimistic!
City gets the title and everyone stops talking about them in 2 weeks time… until their corruption suit starts.😅

true these things happens without much consequences especially when there are klopp, pep like managers

Szobo also not the same.To many players are off for it to be coincidence. There are things going on behind the curtains.Salah comments confirm this .
I think it's a bit blown out of proportion. But yeah... I am the big sad, what a fucking fumble #ynwa
As you like to use British football terms, Luke, it's dressing room or changing room in the UK rather than locker room
I wonder if Spurs will throw against City
Surely they can't afford to, they need to give themselves the best chance of getting top 4
They can do it.
Liverpool are falling off the Cliff hard
COYG!

So we disagree on the Pakckers and now we disagree on Spurs v Arsenal. It is one of the reasons i love sports. enjoy your videos keep it up.
Wait so if you’re supporting Man City to win the league and you’re a Spurs fan how’s the Spurs vs Man City gonna go😂😂😂

Well, Luke can look forward VAR to interfering big time with the LFC match in 2 weeks. Red cards for Dias, Mac Alister, Endo and Virgil.
Why did u chose to be a Spurs fan?? It doesnt even make sense 🤣🤣

He didn't know about Fergie doing the same and backtracking back in the day, if he did, he might have been able to learn from that mistake
He had to announce it so the club has the time to act right and find a suiting replacement
