Maldives: Snorkelling the Artificial Reef

The island we went to on honeymoon had this artificial reef just off the beach. It's probably there as a sea defence, but it was teeming with marine life. We saw Powder Blue Surgeons, various Tangs, Parrotfish, Moorish Idols, Emperor Angels, Sergeants, Acropora corals and a surprise Black Tip Reef Shark.
