Shortly after Dizzy "s passing away , his trumpet was going to be sold on an auction room , as a long time friend , Mike tried to get it but did'nt have the money for it , so he wanted to raise the money everywhere ( Don't know if he succeed , though ) ?

Met Mike twice Yokohama in 1969 and for a gig at my club in Boca Raton 25 years later... we share lots of memories.
