How to Replace the Tailgate Hinge Seals on a Mercedes-Benz G-Class (W463 G500)

In this video I am showing you how to remove and replace the real panel door hinge seals, also known as tailgate hinge gaskets. The process itself is fairly easy and shouldn't take more than 10-15min. In addition to that, the seals themselves are relatively cheap. Subsequently, there really is no reason not replacing these gaskets on time, especially considering that in the long run can cost a small fortune if your panels rust from the inside and you need to replace them.

Thanks for the instructive video. Just to clarify, the part number listed in the description is for the barn door seals (A4607430078). The correct part number for this body style is A4607430178 as you show in the video but it has now been replaced by part number A460743017864.

Thank you, good catch! The correct part number that was purchased from the dealer and was used in the video would be A4607430178. I also checked regarding the updated part and it was indeed replaced by A460743017864. I have edited the video description accordingly.
