Beautifully decorated! The only thing I will change is the front entrance, is too narrow to me. That kitchen God, is so lovely! All that on a 1 acre will be my dream!

Wow... I like the roof style as worried about floors plan... I wish I could look up on floors plans so I could tweet them into my images as two floors... Reason is, in my home, Hastings, is more of floor(s) typed without basement.

I looked at this home in person a couple months ago it’s very beautiful. You have to see this in person , this video doesn’t do it justice. Unfortunately all of the lots for this home with the basement is no longer available. This home/ model still had a few left but without the basement.
Deaion Banks, they actually had several more available with basements when we bought ours. We elected the model without a basement as 4500 square feet is plenty for a retired couple like us. They are STUNNING and I can’t wait for ours to be built!

Another question. Why would a person want a basement on a waterfront lot? It would seem that if the lake floods your basement would flood. So it would seem to be a very bad idea to put basements in waterfront lots.

Hi Chris, The community is gated. You typically only see basements in Florida when the home is on a hill.

I want to move to Florida so bad and I want my dream house to have a basement so I can build a lounge / man cave area in it but I know it’s uncommon in Florida because of the water level so this just gave me a little hope the only thing I’m not a fan of this house is it being so close to water because I don’t want to run into an alligator randomly in the front of my house I’d literally pass out

This is a very nice house, but I think it has some problems. First, this is not a house for small children. The walkway going from the stairway to the second floor does not seem safe for small children. The railing could cause accidents (i.e. falls to small children) Second, I do not like houses that have the master bedrooms on the first floor and the kids rooms on the second floor. No telling what could happen with this arrangement. People need to think about things like this before they buy a house and architects need to think about these things before they design a house.
You're right. This home is typically purchased by people with older or no children. They sell several different floor plans in each community so that they can come close to meeting most peoples requirements without major modifications.
Be childfree. Children are a bad investment.

Unfortunately they stopped building that home. They originally were around $800k but now the resales are 1.5-2m depending on the lot and upgrades.

What?! I fought Homes in Florida don’t have basements its because that Florida is flat in lower sea level.
Hi Daniel, some parts of central Florida have hills and if you build a home on a hill, you can have a walkout lower level.
