We do have Turn into Candy for self destruction effects in yellow already. Drawing 2 and getting an extra swing for 1 energy already sounds pretty great tbh.
Imo double strike would activate during a combo because its a permanent effect and based off the cards power. Just like how trunks 2c blue gets an extra 10k when you combo cards to lower your hand to 7
For the Gohan leader, it reduces by 2 and not by "blue". Final Hope Slash and Great Saiyaman! still would cost 1. The recently revealed Galactic Donut would be the reduced from 3 cost to 1 cost. If the effect said "Earthling" or "Saiyan" then it gets broken as now Sinister Sickle could be played for 1

Doesn’t work, since it requires a Majin Buu Leader. Super Buu is labeled as Majin Buu : Evil which is a different card name.
