I remember reading in Trains magazine about P42 traction motors freezing a few years ago. Impressive GE hasn't fixed it

Yeah P42DCs work so hard day in and day out they are often riddled with problems. Although this one didnt freeze, becasue it was in September and it was about 80 degrees outside haha

Yeah it has since been worked on and 195 is as good as new.
