I have travelled in these locally produced Daewoo buses of gujranwala... they are shit, shit comfort, look and feel, very cheap feels, bare metal is visible, jacks and ports are rusted and clogged,
Do these men claim to make the same quality as European auto giants? what about safety with no tests performed?
It's start it will get better. Or do nothing is not option . maybe you could buy few thousand of these and donate the ones with all the saftey built in.

Ok i am glad someone is keeping eye on transportation industry of pakistan which was needed .
As a transporter i would like to mentioned some points for the purpose of viewers .
These local made buses are risk for passengers these buses are not technically made . On the other hand busses which youtong ,higer,kinglong,foton foreland ,deawoo ,golden dragon are producing passes 1000 Quality checks and 10 time road tests they made busses on plants computerised the comfort fuel average engine power suspension build quality of plant made busses are awesome in one word perfection .
These local made buses are only good if you are having old bus i mean 2005 model etc etc then make a new body .
I am owing both local and imported
The life of imported bus is almost 10 year the local will have life only 2 years

Wah, that reminds me the public transport buses designed and made in early 1960s at Peshawar by someone named " Rehan " ( if I remember the name correctly) for the public transport department yard. They were mechanically sound and beautiful and economically cheaper than the imported ones.

Most important aspect missing is the road safety & quality check of this bus to be on road........material used and safety impact was never discussed...this could be a roaming coffin for the passengers. There is no regulatory body who could verify the structure of this bus.
these can be death traps on highways if not as per the standards maintained by known Manufactures

Ya Allah khair. Where is engineering, quality control and quality assurance in order to make sure the safety of final product. How they calculated the structure/ mesh/ skeleton of this bus. What is the welder qualification, what welding procedure they are using. How they check the suspension system, shock absorber. Last but not least what is the safety policy for workers during their duty. It is totally risky product. Please don't play with people life. May Allah give them brain. Ameen

Good information shared but in a layman style who just looks at "Lash push". You should have focused on technical aspects of the manufacturing quality. Powerhouse, suspension and brake systems should have been addressed.
The major fault in manufacturing process which I can see is that they are doing all the job in an open environment where metal gets rusted and all the dust gets deposited in the seems, this is a slow virus which eats up all the welding and makes the structure weak.
Na crash test, na rain test na koi or safety test, na koi or test. Bs banaya or chalaya. Jo factory may tayar hoti hai wo payedar or reliable b itni hoti hai.

pakistan can produce world class finished products but we should promote what extra safety features are added. if ABS, VTS systems and other safety sensors are added . Good to see how businesses growing in pakistan however to compete and be Pioneers we need to focus on research and development rather than only shape,design and outlook
