@@enkai5327 in the SBS about the lurking legend, he says something like "sabo will... Vivi will... Hancock will... Ahhh" referring to the aftermath of the reverie, only conclusion I can think of is they've been captured as intended (by cp0 in mariejois and Coby+SSG to Hancock)- if you see the reactions of alabasta and revolutionary army/Dadan and makino, you can see it's something serious. Luffy should react in a similar way and the war should get set up. Oda has also said in SBS the war after wano will be the biggest yet, but hasn't said it's the final war or anything like that...

I feel like arcs after wano will be much faster paced because Luffy and the crew are reaching a point where they won’t NEED to have training to compete with stronger powers, will cut a lot of losses out

Doubt it. They will milk it to have as many episodes as possible. And also just because they're stronger doesn't mean anything because they're also getting to the point of fighting the top tier enemies.

I really want Wano to be the end of Big Mom. She's been a major antagonist for so long now and Kaido stole the show. Hoping 2 Yonko falling at the same time really nails in the fact that the new generation has risen to the top

There will be a moment when Loki is getting the best of the crew due to his manipulative skills and Usopp realizes he is the only one who can beat Loki by out-manipulating him. This is where he realizes that even though he isn't as strong as the big 3 or a giant, he still completes the crew and makes them stronger than they could be without him.
It would be incredible to see things play out this way. Unlikely any of us could accurately guess where the story will go, but I do hope to see this happen.
I want things to happen even greater then this version.
I'm not really a fan. I think one of the best features Usopp has over the rest of the crew is that he doesn't really have those "badass" crazy fight scene moments. He's support.
He got famous based on a lie. His whole persona is a lying, Pinocchio-faced, realistically flawed human-based, relatable character. I want see some kind of ridiculous twist as to how he accidentally becomes the man with the highest bounty in the world or something.
What will make Elbaf even better is the fact that after 4 more more years of Wano arc (depending on how much of wano arc is still left) the elbaf arc pacing will feel so much better ( I expect around 2 years of elbaf arc with a hell lot of great content)
Yh I can deffo see elbaph as a short but fast paced arcs with a lot of lore dump similar to Xou after Dressrosa but every more fucking epic

One change I would make to this is. Instead of Usopp just getting back up and unlocking his Haki against Loki. It should be a speech from Luffy that inspires him to get back up. Similar to Usopp’s speech to Luffy during Enies Lobby.

I think for everyone to take usopp seriously it REALLY needs to be a whole seperate arc of JUST usopp's character devolepment.

I don't think he will get haki just to me doesn't make much sense and kinda ruin it. Normally crews have 2 - 3 and if Usopp gets it sanji will prolly have to but I think the last person to join will have it like oden with Roger.
@@bradencrisp738 usopp has been hinted towards getting conqeror's haki for the longest time since his fights with perona and sugar, and he has lied about having conqeror's so its sort of now just set in stone, god doesn't lie man.
If anything, I believe how Luffy "fights" Shanks is going to be through a Davy Back Fight. For one, Luffy views Shanks as a mentor, and possibly a father figure. I doubt he'll be able to ever fight Shanks like he has other antagonists in the previous arcs. Davy Back Fights were also quickly introduced, and never brought up again. A Davy Back Fight is also a great way for Luffy to Challenge Shanks. But , instead of taking members of Shanks crew, it will be for pieces of the his Polynagryph. This also sets up duels between, Shanks and Luffy, Usopp, and his dad, and Zoro, and Mihawk.
Ngl would be hype. Luffy will have 3 road poneglyfs at this point so he just needs the last one which makes sense Shanks has.
I mean if it's because of parallels on the two halves of one piece, we are still missing a second davy back fight like arc in the time skip.

I don't think Shanks meeting Luffy will be a happy meeting like everybody thinks. Shanks will prolly try to beat Luffy and Luffy also has expressed interest in beating all the 4 Yonkos before

I feel like the giant's pride might have an issue with saying shanks is the "protector" of elbaf. They are huge, strong, and fierce. The suggestion that they can't take care of themselves is a little iffy imo. I could definitely see an alliance between them though and them still flying the red hair flag. Also I could see conflict stirring between the giants who are honoring the alliance with shanks and those who are now allied with luffy. I think the davy back fight would be for the flag that flies on elbaf.
Also Prince Loki could turn out to be a villan of this arc, feel like if he was going to have an alliance with big mom then could mean he's got different motives. Not sure , but I do feel he will have a big role in the arc
I actually think a good thematic for Elbaf is all the stories of being a lie. As we can see with Big Mom’s defeat of their all time great warrior, Dorry and Broggy’s battle, and Hajrudin’s nationalism that they’re actually in a decline and lack warriors. It would be interesting that Shanks has been protecting them and Usopp will bring a return to their former glory.
Not taking care of themselves is not the same as having protection. That is simply false. It’s about politics and bonds. Fishman Island was filled with powerful combatants and their race is several times more powerful than humans. Still was under pirate authority,
I think it'd make more sense that there'd be a faction that wants to be allied with pirates and other that isn't.
Another davy back fight is almost guaranteed imo, it's such an important piece of One Piece lore that it would be sad if it was not reintroduced at some point. Some interesting fact is that the game was invented in Fullalead Island... which was Rocks's base, the guy who assembled a crew of super powerful pirates who didn't get along well with each other. I'm 99% sure Rocks was just New World Foxy, a Davy Back Fight god who separated Big Mom from Streusen and did the same to many other strong captains until he had the best crew

Ussop is one of the realistic characters in the story. I absolutely love his character, although he can be annoying at times. During this video, the way you explained everything, I've actually been hoping the same thing when I got to know that the king of giants is someone called "Loki" and I'm not gonna lie, I may have shed a few tears just thinking about this
Seeing as Vicky the Viking was one of Oda's greatest inspirations for One Piece it would totally make sense that the Viking themed setting would play an enormous part in the overall story
I enjoyed every second of it and if it was to happen I would like it very much. Great job man. Only thing I don't agree is the Zoro vs Mihawk fight happening in a Davy game.
In this scenario I don't see Mihawk and Perona appearing. I just see Blackbeard and his crew being sighted and Luffy getting riled up for fight, but Shanks stops him and tells him that it's not the time and that he has more important things to do and that he will have his revenge one day ("or not, this is not my first time dealing with this guy" or smtg less corny).
And for the first time, Luffy listens but is still in tears, because he respects Shanks so much not to trust him, but at the same time, know he's probably never going to see him again.
As for Mihawk I think he then catch up to them after that, maybe wounded from whatever the marines came up with (maybe missing an arm ? that would be so poetic), then warns Luffy but tell him that things reached a point where it's him or no one, and he has his duel with Zoro upon the idea that if Zoro can't defeat him now and really be the strongest wing to Luffy then all is lost. And Zoro wins of course, and Mihawk tells him something like "Finally, now you know what it takes, don't spoil the title, because it's yours now"

Ussop is going to be lifting a real bad ass weapon like a massive hammer in Elbaf.
And still remain "physically weak" because mjolnir weighs nothing but requires worthiness thus Oda not lying about him being the "weakest" Straw Hat despite the jump in ranks he will have. Just genius writing

But I'm sure it's thought of during Little Garden where Usopp first meets a giant, and what do you know, in the second next arc, Alabasta, he used the hammer again so it wasn't just a one use gag. But if it was during Arlong Park then that's simply world class writing and memory lol.
Wow. I thought the story you told was great and very close to the tone of the show. However, it would also take into account the greater involvement of Usopp’s father. His powerup wouldn’t be so far fetched if we saw something similar in his father, member of an emperor’s crew

@@acetofresh1 ehhhh idk, its been shown that skills and abilities are genetic in one piece. The only time there's been differences is simply because of upbringing. Its been shown that if the parents are strong and the children end up being fighters as well, the children end up being strong as well as is the case with luffy, dragon, ace, katakuri and pretty much all of big mom's children, Yamato, etc. We don't know who the parents are for many characters which is why we can't see who they got their strength from.

In this case its interchangeable with the Strawhat itself, which is fitting, because Shanks said Luffy would return it to him later.
But the Strawhat its such a staple of Luffy, its unimaginable it would happen.
Then again, without a Davy Back, Luffy would give the Strawhat back, because its what he promised.
A Davy Back, betting Strawhat vs Poneglyph solves all of this at once.

Shanks and Blackbeard are not fighting. There isn't any reason for them to fight to the death or whatever. In my opinion, Shanks is more likely to fight Luffy even. This guy Shanks was at the Gorosei's crib like they were all friends! If Luffy found out that Shanks is friendly with the same people that attempted to kill one of his friends (Vivi) as well as a whole lot of other shit that those old guys have spearheaded in the past, I feel as if Luffy would snap. Even if Shanks has decent intentions, Luffy would want to clash with Shanks first for even being friendly with the Gorosei in the first place - the 5 men that stand in the way of his ideals.
I am not a writer, so I tend not to try and predict stuff too hard. I also think it's highly likely that I'm wrong here lol... I guess it's just fun to do!

The only issue I have with this theory is that i’m convinced Eneru is going to show up at some point. I think it’d be a missed opportunity if the god that could control thunder didn’t make an appearance in the viking inspired land
I have a theory that the Elbaf tree reaches as high as sky islands, we might see Urouge. And I also believe it can even go as higher as in space, in which its branches can reach several moons, we might see Enel with his Elbaf name Thor.
Disagree I don’t see how he would fit in to the arc of elbaf and the whole God concept with Eneru/Enel was already explored in skypeia
Because of his thunder oriented abilities? Doubt it. I understand what you're thinking but Enel has absolutely zero relation to Nordic mythology. If you're looking for a Thor figure it would probably comes from someone else, likely one of the giants. There are thunder gods in many different mythologies and Enel's design is based on Raijin from Japanese mythology.

I have a hard time believing we'll get a large portion of the arc with Usopp as the main character and the monster trio all sidelined. Though it's definitely a really cool idea and I wouldn't be upset if it happened... I just don't think it's likely.

A war with giants? So, Ragnarök? This could confirm my ''theory'' that Pluton is actually located on Elbaf. My reasoning? Well, in Norse Mythology there's a ship called ''Naglfar'' (Old Norse "nail farer"), made entirely from the fingernails and toenails of the dead. During the events of Ragnarök, Naglfar is foretold to sail to Vígríðr (The battlefield where gods and giants will clash), ferrying hordes of monsters that will do battle with the gods. Thus, I believe that Pluton would be located somewhere on Elbaf and my prefered location would probably be underground to reference Helheim, the realm of the dead.

I love your connections and the theories, one thing you should consider about Loki is not only the trickster god of the aesir but the other one from Norse Mythology,
I suggest to google Utgard-Loki: He is stated to be king of the mountain giants and the most powerful sorcerer in Jotunheim. this might open up some theories

For Usopp's character goal to be realized we HAVE to go to Elbaf, plus Big Mom ties closely into the place as well so much that I see her finally being taken down in Elbaf as opposed to Wano
*goosebumps* I liked this version of events so much, and my favourite ones are OP version of David vs Goliath, also the mighty hammer of Usopp, I think those two are things most likely to happen in the land of OP Vikings. Great story telling as always 💥

I'm not sure about Usopp having conqueror's haki, it might happen but I think being able to lift Mjolnier (probably spelled it wrong) after believing in himself fits him more.
He always lifts a fake 10 ton hammer and uses trickery because he doesn't consider himself a capable warrior, putting those thoughts aside is the key for him to become worthy of lifting the mighty hammer.
being "worthy" of lifting Mjolnir is a marvel only thing, in norse mythology anyone can pick up Mjolnir.

This was enjoyable to listen to. Idk about the whole thing, but I really liked the part where Shanks first meets up with Luffy. Ive always thought that Big Mom would not be completely defeated here but wounded, and her crew will save her.
After this I thought that she might go to Elbaf which might be an extra reason for Luffy to go there.
I think luffy defeats big mom in elbaf quite easily and their katakuri become a new captain and sworn loyalty to luffy crew

Pretty entertaining Story! The big Tree, that will be seen in Elbaf, is also a part of the Nordic Mythology named Yggdrasil (You might know). Oda has already confirmed in a part of a Fan Post Page inside the Manga, that he wants to draw and show Elbaf one day. So it will be sooner or later part of the story. I would like it, if the Straw Hats would find the last Road Porneglyph thereselves and no other pirate would have found it before. Greetings from Germany
Just Imagine Zoro vs Mihawk finale and then just like the 1st time they fought they use their finishers but this time Mihawks blade Yoru breaks and let Zoro finish him just like what Zoro did on their 1st battle. Bro that moment would be one of the most memorable fights ever in Onepiece.

There was a poneglyph in Fishman Island that was moved, it was the one besides Joyboy's apology. This one was most likely a road poneglyph
The one at Fishman Island was moved. There are three options for who moved it in my opinion. Shanks, Blackbeard, or the WG. So there's a decent chance Shanks has it.

I've always thought Elbaf arc will somehow include the Sky people. And after remembering how there's a giant tree, it seems more plausible to me.
Here's why I thought of it in the first place: Usopp is somehow connected to Norland. And Norland story is about how the gold city flew to the sky. People also theorised how Urogue could appear in this arc, and he is from the sky. The tree in Elbaf could be inspired from Yggdrasil, which is a tree with land on top of it.
There is a possibility of numerous of previous characters reappearance. There could be a war, heck, this could be THE last and big war. This sounds like it doesn't makes sense, but, the shichibukai might come here to escape, Enel might make an appearance with the space pirates, Sabo might come here to bring Vivi to the Strawhats, the Straw Hats fleet might also come, CP0 might still be chasing Robin and could potentially involve the marine. Think about it, after Luffy beat Kaido, no way are the world government letting them free since they will have access to most of the Red Poneglyph, and Robin is their crew. It could spark a war.

I just feel like it would be too soon for a war to take place if it were to happen on Elbaf, imo it will happen after Luffy becomes pirate king because it's been said that finding the one piece will shake the world so I think that's when the war will break out

he said it will be entering final phase. assuming there's another 225 chapters, elbaf 30 chapters, laugh tale/god valley/final war 170, 25 chapters of final lore dump (revolutionaries put the final touches on their mission, return to enies lobby, reunite with the whale, etc) and other character closeouts.
There's another reference in having usopp fighting Loki that is the David vs Goliath myth, that I think kinda fits very well with Usopp character development.
I mean, Usopp defeating a Giant would surely be a founding stone for the self confidence that he needs
One more thing I want to see happen. Right after Usopp decimates Loki, the Red Haired Pirates pull up to Elbaf. On board with Shanks is Yasopp, Usopp’s father. While he already knew that Usopp had already made a name for himself with the Straw Hats, Usopp’s deeds on Elbaf further show how much he has grown, and greatly impresses his father. A hard fought battle is thus rewarded with a heartfelt reunion between father and son.

Great video. When watching the part of Usopp facing Loki, I do hope it happens as you predicted even if it is just a little. But for the Shanks part of the Elbaf arc, I mostly believe that Luffy should stick around long enough to witness Blackbeard killing Shanks which may force Luffy to enter another period of change where instead of just being stronger, he must become wiser! Well I don't know about you, but what do you think?

I def think there will be a good reunion moment for Luffy and Shanks, but I also hope that there is some challenge to their dynamic. Imagine Luffy having to realize the truth about the person he idolizes. By the end of Elbaf, he’s gonna have to realize that him and Shanks are now competitors - not pupil and student.
Also how do we know how shanks will be? I like how Oda has left a lot of ambiguity on how Shanks is as a character.
luffy already stated he will need to defeat all emperors and hopes shanks will be the last one he has to fight... meaning luffy is already aware of it

Also, him having a special Hammer also makes sense considering he always had a hammer though they are fake or weak.
