I don't like that the enemies are red instead of red outline and the game looks a bit different
Stop saying buffs and busted and shit, or they will nerf it, nerf a lot of caracters which makes them fun

Jason looks to be a very good character I wasn't expecting him to have three grabs.
he actually has 4 grabs, his jab string ends in a grab if you don’t cancel it with down tilt

Thats very into character actually. Jason has been very creative in his methods of killing people and quite a few of them are him getting his hands on you. XD
Don't worry. Ppl will whine and complain because they aren't very good at the game and Jason will be nerfed into the ground.

Jason doing the bed fold from Freddy vs Jason and an attack is a fantastic call back!
As a reigndog player is see his slow start up as a prime opportunity for using projectiles to counter him, also putting up a lightning shard near a wall to prevent his wall combos, im excited
Same here, plus reindog had some REALLY cheap/free combos against heavy characters that I think could really work well in this MU as well. So excited to get back into the game

He's built like a hunk of meat
Jason does seem busted up close but at the same time, 1) HE'S JASON, 2) that's his trade off, he's got slow start ups and has to cover the distance and feels more defensive. Batman, Reindog, & Mage characters are going to take advantage of his size and lack of mitigation to combo tf out of him.
I think that's where basically unstoppable from mkx comes in his rage he's not put it hit animation for one hit and close the gap that way so getting through batarang and missile from bugs might be a bit out playable

jason having the same teleport move and resurrection mechanic that he had in mkx definitely confirmed for me that scorpion will join the roster at one point
I think that's just the fact that teleporting and resurrection are such a recognizable part of his powers that it's a no trainer to give him those but scorpion has to be a gurenntee since this is owned by Warner bros
If jason has this many references and this much tec imagine what they could do with ben 10 or sub zero very excited for the future of this game

He needs it because of his big frame and slow startup hes gonna get bodied in most matchups. Arya was cooking me but once I landed a solid 5 hits she donzo lmao.
@@BltzZ That actually sounds really balanced tbh fitting to character stereo types like Jason being a tank who hits hard but is slow and sucks against ranged and Arya being a glass cannon.
Jason’s teleport allowing him to appear behind where a character is on screen and then F their world up is so unbelievably in character for him that’s it’s hilarious 🤣
@Bltz this is awesome! I am definitely using this guide to learn this character as he’s always been one of my favorites from the classic 80’s/90’s slasher movies icon and I can’t wait to play this game
4:48 Is poking literally the only thing the banana can do
hes pretty close to brawhalla spear characters, hes got the poke, but also the "launch up while spinning the spear above him" move, and also a move where he slams the spear down and creates a shockwave. he also seems to have some sort of charge up like shaggy. he has another move where hes crying and the tears act as a 2-sided attack shield basically. also an upwards jab, a kick, swinging the spear down for a bigger attack hitbox but less range than the poke i believe. he also has some sort of body slam / belly flop attack which possibly has the projectile forcefield. also seems to have a dash with the spear extended as like a charge attack.
there might be more but thats what i saw in the gameplay trailer for him

That charged Neutral reminds me a LOT of the Rage mode perk from the Friday The 13th Game 🔥
Also using the monsterous side step in air allows you to attack with out the stall. I use it in air or after a jump while pulling up to force me to spawn in air allowing me to hit instantly

After essentially 1v2ing with Jason since my teammate maybe got 3 knockouts in 17 games against a Tom and Jerry and Lebron *BALLS* he is very fun and effective
That means the surveys are ready to be released at different times everywhere so everyone can play at midnight or at least this version so people don’t have to wait in hope midnight pt
I'm not a fan of horror in general or Jason in particular, but watching this gameplay he looks so fun he might become one of my mains

Ima stay with Arya until samurai jack is confirmed and released but I see I’m gonna have a rough time against new players running Jason and Joker. Jason especially seems like a big counter for quick movement type of characters with that uppercut that grabs

To be fair, he was bullied as a child so he’s just getting giving those people a taste of their own medicine and besides half of those people on the roster are villains and Jason’s basically an antihero
Jason with the teleport behind ability is untouchable lol. Once you do the third hit throw of his attack you can tele behind them and hit them again and ping pong for a very long time. If they try to counter by attacking behind themselves you make distance and can teleport in front of them instead. I use the teleport more then I hit them..... and its insane almost always untouchable lol
I use it as a counter if I see them go into a heavy they can't stop the animation to its an instant punish. I also use it when I knock them in a position they can't act quickly in like when I throw them into a wall and they have to wait for the bounce back. It can't be punished as easy as you say if you dodge in the opposite direction when you port. Its been the best so far lol

I'm not usually a fan of bigger/slower characters, but I am 100% playing Jason on day 1.
Me too usually, but this dude is just so much fun to play. The new system allows for more thought out gameplay so even if you play slower you can really take the time to think of options and I love it.

Unfortunately I only had access for 3 days and spent most of it with Jason, Joker and Wonder woman. I am so sorry! But Master of Hyrule recorded all moves I think on his channel
Finally one of these early bird videos where the player doesn’t suck ass and sound boring as fuck, no offense to the other ones but watching someone struggle to hit a 2 move combo 12 times in a row is pretty annoying 😅

Jason needs a buff ngl his moves are way too slow and he has a huge hitbox, at least make his neutral special takes more damage like iron giant. His bed attack is super slow and barely has range.
That’s the point of a tank… if he had crazy survival potential, and crazy high damage, they need to balance it with slow startups.

I doubt it would even be good tbh lol. I only played WW, Jason and Joker. Played against them, harley, banana and gizmo through the whole closed demo. Not to mention I didn't get to try all perks. Maybe I will think about it and title it "way too early unfinished tier list" and see if people dont get upset lol
