    I have one of these. It is very good. The teeth hold up remarkably well even after hours of use and hitting the occasional unseen rock. I have used it to mulch sides of old lease roads, fence lines, accessing sites and cleaning up unwanted brush in pastures. The gate makes an obvious difference when desiring smaller material. I have done acres of willows that are notorious for binding up in other brands and dedicated mulchers that cant lift the head up very far off the ground. Tooth design and the ability to start at the top and work down works great in these types of material. Expense to purchase but does a great job!

    I have a cedar forest with 3 to 5 inch diameter trees. I’ve got 3 acres of them. They are densely packed. You think I can clear that in 8 hours. Or 16 hours?

    i have some sporadic rocks but not bigger than about 10"..most are flat and brittle. Im looking to rent one from the local dealer and he was hesitant because the carbide tips are 150 each. Now im nervouse to tear up the machine. I really need to mulch down some 8" sapplings and 2-3" sappling stumps to allow grass to grow in my wooded area after brush clearing. I would like a simple way to till and remove the small sappling sumps that the brush cutter leaves. I though this machine would be the best....anyone have an suggestions?

    This attachment looks like other attachments that mulch wood, till soil, grind stumps and crushes stones; but this one "doesn't" do all these things does it, if you get my meaning. ?

    My property has some wild grape vine growing and lots of honey suckle. I've heard these will get bound up with grape vine. How true is this?

      I have used a nearly identical device in heavy grapevine and some honeysuckle. Yes, it does wrap around the drum. The drier the vines, the less the problem. It never stalled our machine but it did take a few extra minutes to cut it out at the end of the day. If we were mulching hard or medium density wood along with the vines, it usually cleared itself and no extra cleaning was required. We always do a thorough cleaning before we leave a site to prevent the transfer of weeds, insects or diseases from one area to another. Good luck

      A brushcat is better suited for vine and honey suckle. That's what we use.

    • @BobcatCo
      @BobcatCo  5 років тому

      The machine shown here is a T870, but our forestry cutter attachment can be used on the T770 as well. Find out more about the attachment here: www.bobcat.com/attachments/forestry-cutter/features?btname=%2Fattachments%2Fforestry_cutter&btplcmt=Legacy%20Site

      Two bolts at the front of the cage t o remove then lift canopy and also before you lift canopy lift the bucket all the way up and lock the lift arms makes for easy access to hydraulics.
