Nice lesson here, it was easy to follow along with! 1) The F#m7 can be substituted with a Dmaj9. 2) The ascending part: Bm7- C#m7 Em7-F#m7 / Em7-F#m7 . Its the Em7-F#m7 that does not sound right.. the E & F# bass note in the chord sounds off, I thing by eliminating those bass notes you get the Inversion which seems right . Thoughts here?
