I started crochet following one video you did for starters, teaching how to follow an amigurumi patern. Crochet has become one of my favourites hobbies, i only do little and simple amigurumis but im so happy. My grandmother crocheted all her life, i have some clothes and a big blanket she made for me when i even existed and i inherited it. Makes me a bit sad thinking about what it could have been if i discovered i love crochet a bit early, because i saw her crocheting during my childhood, it would be amazing if i could share this with her, she crocheted a lot and she was very talented! I love seeing you sharing this with your grandma, im your age so it makes me feel a little like i have my grandma here too because im following a hobbie she had too, she is no longer with me but it feels like im a bit more connected to her doing this, wearing clothes she made and founding some of her works, paterns, yarns… Warms my heart ❤️❤️❤️
Fingerling weight is like a 2 and if you get it in a bamboo and cotton blend it will drape nicely. But the bubble stitch is a yarn hog and will require a lot of yardage.
From what I know about copyright in Australia it stand for 90 years AFTER the creator dies. So they have to be dead for 90 years, might be different in the US.
Weight of yarn is very important when it comes to clothing and amount of yarn you need. If you knit a something with fingering when it calls for sport your hat size will be drastically different. Google yarn weight chart for an explanation on yarn weight
Oh I have no idea!! I just noticed the Roman Numerals on the bottom of the page and paused to see the date! I would imagine it’s probably a company that’s no longer around..some of those pics looked late 70’s in my opinion. Probably why the instructions seem so dated. I think you’ll be ok. I would imagine there were shitloads of these patterns regurgitated over and over in magazines and books over the last 40 years.

Been waiting on your lives for this :)
what about barbie autumn clothes??
Looks somewhat like a Bucket hat. Been crocheting since 1968! Love vintage patterns. No UA-cam in my day so easy for me to read patterns
Good job.
I paused and checked the copyright date on the pages and it’s 1985.
Does that mean it stays copyrighted forever though 😅
