She is amazing. I’m wishing for a full length conversation with her about the current protests and how we can fight injustice without being consumed by rage. This is a long term concern for those of us engaged in social justice work.

I realized that one of the things that brings me the most joy is closely tied to what is bringing me pain. Placing those two feelings side by side when they are basically the same was hard - but really worthwhile. Thank you.

She's also a graduate of High School for the Humanities in NYC - now known as Bayard Rustin. Just so you all know - she was always balanced and kind - always. I was a grade under her and I believe she was class president (not completely sure). The fact that she is out there doing what she is doing - is not a surprise! Thank you

I attended a workshop she led a few years ago and it was excellent. This is a good reminder that I need to read her books.

This was really powerful thank you. When you (Angel) mentioned connecting with my joy I felt my whole body fill with joy and so quickly. I think I need to then work a little more on holding and bring in that while re-approaching the discomfort but I can sense how a longer practice, and more practice, would really help with that. ❤️

Dan Harris - I am an activist. I have many activist friends in the Houston area, home town of George Floyd. In my organization we have big focus on regenerative culture including meditation. As you were offering free access to the app for teachers, medical workers, front line workers, I wondered if you might consider offering this to activists? Our work is hard and emotionally and mentally taxing - work that requires being so close to injustice and requires you to tap into anger & love. Just thought you might consider :)

Is it not possible to hand TPH over to other people for a while? I think Angel really raised something, which is that some teachers are particularly well placed right now to help us all through this new phase.

question on meditation: how do you gain insight if you turn away from thoughts and back to your point of focus such as the breath.
