I don’t think your opinion is unpopular at all! I think they are neck to neck honestly lol but I would definitely lean towards the newer Miku if you don’t want to pay the high aftermarket price of the original or if you prefer the pearlescent paint and sharper sculpt of the newer one

I prefer the original one, mainly because of her unique ballerina pose with twin tails that form the number 5 when viewed from the side. Not to mention her one-of-a-kind base in the form of a "turntable" storage drawer and that elegant music box. If only they could find a way make the the turntable turn on its own, it would have been perfect. I understand that would have made the figure even more expensive, but hey, one can dream, right? :)
Yep! The Ballerina pose that forms the Number 5 is so unique and creative! I lean slightly towards the original because the design is more unique and ambitious! The paint job and sculpt is not bad either! The newer one is beautiful too! And they definitely improved the paint job and sculpt! It’s just a very safe design for me and the base is so random! I wish she was sitting on top of a music box with that pose lol
It really depends on the manufacturer! Alter uses clear windows on their figures! GSC does on their standard Pop Up Parades! I actually like clear windows too!
