Ooh dang, I think you missed the fluorescence rooms and the garage area which has geodes, meteorites, and (one of my faves if it's still there) the Aurora Borealis opal carving.
Frank, the 'Adopted by' signs are a Rice fundraising scheme. For $50 you adopt your favorite mineral for 1 year. Also, in your enthusiasm some id's sound sketchy; you gotta sound out the mineral names on the tags. For a shut-in, getting to visit this museum in detail is a treasure. Thank you!
Question; Have you ever seen a Garnet that has the Star/s(multiple) just floating in the air above the garnet. We were Blessed with This Type of Garnet. I have seen and know of some selling in the $25,000.00+ range??? Mined in America.
@@ROCKINWHEELERS never seen a garnet like that, but last time I was in Denver, I went out to dinner with a bunch of dealers, and one Australian casually pulls out a perfect star Sapphire worth $100k!
Be safe, and have an Awesome and fun trip!
Thanks for showing the Rice, too, man. My next "field trip"!
Such Amazing specimens❤
*Every lawn mower/landscaper:* “Okay guys, they just started vlogging, let’s begin!”
The petrifies wood is amazing.
This was awesome ty.
THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR ADVENTURES.
ENJOY YOUR ADVENTURES TO OTHER LANDS.
