Yeah true. It should be An encounter with Eric. But i had some viewers asking for Vir so i had to name it about him;) But i couldn't leave it out anyway since it was massively important.
There is SO much more you could have shown that demonstrates Vir is "The Man". For example, the conversation he has with Mr. Morden about his head and a pike comes to mind.
Yes i could but i only showed his courage in the episode with the techno mage only The episode your refer to is in season 4 i think. And that will take me a longgg time to get there. Then i will make another Vir is the man video:)
@@JK-Visions Lol, when I said you "could" have, I didn't mean to imply you "should" have, I was merely expressing how Vir is a far more dynamic character then some give him credit for.
It's testament to Stephen Furst's performance that, in that first exchange with Londo, he hides Vir's wisdom in a sentence that - the first time you hear it - could easily be dismissed as meaningless babble. But, as it turns out, Vir is absolutely correct and Londo should have listened to him.
I think in a sense Londo knows. Vir probably reminds him of his youth when he still was innocent. He does send Vir to Minibar. And even though Vir uses his position to help thousands of Narns Londo still protects him.
@@JK-Visions londo says a s much, he remarks how vir came to be his ajudicator, yet was free of the guiilt he had to get there not because vir is a amoral person,

I was watching a tribute to Tim Conway. Think of the possibilities of Vir, Besler, and Tim Conway in anything like a cargo ship with Marcus and Franklin.
Interesting that when he first enters he says his name is Vir Cotto, pronouncing it like Cot-Oh the "cot" part like the thing you sleep on. Then when the creature arrives he keeps saying his name is Vir-Cotto pronouncing it Coat-oh, the "cot" part now like the thing you wear in the winter.
Technomages with their special skills coukd have been the great allies to fight the shadows Yes, they had chosen to run and hide like cowards. Rather irresponsible for an advanced people.
Have you seen a lost Rancor🙄
I never made the connection between the two _monsters_ before watching this video...😊
This was my first thought when seeing this!
Yes, I was thinking, wrong movie.
It was a joke edited in the video. The technomage created a rancor from StarWars in my opinion;)
Stephen Furst was a brilliant, brilliant actor. He had the best timing I've ever seen. RIP. Sadly, sadly RIP.
"I see a great hand, *reaching* from star. I hear millions of people screaming your name."
"My followers?"
"Your victims."

one of most memorable moments in series
reaching from AFAR. Not star.

@@JK-VisionsNo, the initial conversion he had on Babylon 5. Maybe second season, might even have been first.
Never mind the fact that he ran an Underground Railroad at B5. Vir is acting a buffoon but is actually quite brave and honorable.

Elric has read Tolkien...
Stephen Furst was great in Animal House and St. Elsewhere too. He has natural comedic timing.
Never seen it. Thank for the tips. I will check some episodes out some time.
Sadly, he *had* natural comedic timing. RIP

He is actually the hero of the story. In the books it will be even more clear.

Tim Conway was awesome! 😅😂🤣
Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons. For you are crunchy and go good with ketchup.
Fabulous comment!!
Vir was my favourite character on babylon5
It is difficult to pick one but Vir was the most underdog of them all and rose above it.
More Vir coming up soon:)
Yes I love him, cute cuddly space goth!
@@SerenaBlackCat Vir certainly is.
Vir is the man for me
I didn't catch that Tolkien reference at the time!
I am not sure I read the books at the time. But the whole B5 story is about slaying the darkness;)
The B5 story is based on LOTR lore.
Vir is completely right, at the start, about how the plot works. How J.M.Strazinsky the writer works.
This episode ROCKS.. Vir rules.
I approve the title of this post.
Thanks!
"May I please have 10,000 marbles?"😅
Thank you!
He was spot on at first…e deep being true for Londo.
If he listened to Vir he would have been a lot happier;)

He tries to come across confident. I guess his pronunciation of his last name reflects this. Nice catch!
spoiler saddly vir cotto became importer of a dead world i believe after londo was killed.

I think their tech was not sufficient enough. Mostly tricks of light and shadow.

It is said they were the result of a super soldier program run by the shadows
