Restaurada espada de chifre de búfalo 🗡😉
Incredible work as always 👍👍
Thanks so much ❤❤
Great to see something which is a part of a people's heritage restored. Thank you for sharing this with us. The only thing I with all due respect will advise is the music you started with almost had me stop watching the rest of the restoration. I however was extremely interested in seeing this beautiful and authentic sword restored. Do you have any idea which region and which culture it originated from? I would be very interested to know.
I'm so sorry about the music
This sword is from the Kush civilization, an African-Sudanese civilization
@@TOMMYRestoration Thank you for this information. I thought it may have been from the area of Kenya because of the huge buffalo herds they have there. It is fascinating to hear that it comes from the area you have mentioned. It must be really old. I think the curve of the sword being accentuated by the curve of the horn is really appealing. Thanks once again. Keep well.
So, not something alive. got it. what you're doing is pretty awesome, and i will be coming back for more, but i thought there was some sort of bird rescue going on. Go ahead and take my Like good sir. for that much work and the strange lo-fi music, you deserve it.
Why would you think there was a bird rescue when the title of the video is "restoration of a buffalo horn sword"??
@@rdizzy1 haha, i dunno. The thumbnail looked like there was a bird involved? I love what happened in the video though. It doesnt look thay functional, for my hand, but it looks great.
@@Sethemiah Coming from the region of Sudanese Africa it very well could be that the buffalo was killed for consumption therefore the use of the horn is just recycling of an important part of the animal for a practical use. I might be wrong but it looked like the glue used could have been resin from a tree mixed with hair from the animal. In such a harsh environment every portion of the animal including its bones would be put to another use. In the Southern part of South Sudan there are the Tockus jacksoni/hornbill birds but I think it would be difficult for most people to confuse a buffalo horn with the Tockus jacksoni/hornbill birds. Are you an ornithologist/bird watcher? Conservation of our natural eco systems is a very good practice. Best wishes.
Very clever using the sheetrock tape for reinforcement! Can you tell us anything about the sword--who made it and when?

@@TOMMYRestoration Thank you
That's everything but not a restauration.
