I got a laugh when my son had covid, normally when he lived with me, if he had a cold, it was really bad, he felt like he was dying. I asked him how he was when his covid was four days in. He said it was only bad two days and not the worst he'd ever been. Amazing, his gf has been good for him, and she had covid too. I think he's grown up now.
I appreciate so much that you didn't play any music over the bull's cries while you worked. It helped SO MUCH to convey to the uninformed viewer that something is DEAD WRONG and that the patient is CRYING and not whining (as far as emotional quota definitions go) It would have been so easy to keep cashing in on clickbait worthy cases, but the editing choices you made here helped convey the severity of the situation to a layman. If that isn't the ultimate goal in all art forms I'll eat my hat right now.
I agree. There was one video where we heard a loud MOO! and he made sure to let us know the cow he was working on actually wasn't in any pain because it was just a normal hoof trim. So he let's us know when the cows aren't in pain, and let's us hear it for those situations where they are so we know the difference. Greatly appreciated by me as well.
I love this contact for some reason I can’t get enough of it it’s so satisfying and reading the comment below mine I just realized mine is only in 360p as well 😓 Still going to watch it and come back when it’s clear and watch it again and then probably again
No, when a video is first uploaded, UA-cam take a wee while to render it in high quality, so when you get to a video straight after it's uploaded, they're usually only available in 360p for about half an hour
Watching your videos helps me relive my love for farming and the animal careers i have always wanted to do and had done. Over the years ive had to let that part of me go and i hope one day i have an opportunity to go back but for now i can just enjoy your videos and remember my years and memories of farming.
What more could you want from a day? Educating the herd, improving the life of the bull, and entertaining the family. That was a wonderful ending segment.
He sure didn't care for you trimming that last foot! It must have been really sore.🐄🐮 Watching the end of this video, with your boys on the swing that hangs from a tree, made me remember my youth. You've got such a wonderful life Graeme!! Your beautiful family, your business that allows you to help farmers, and their cattle, and such a beautiful and peaceful place to live. You do such beautiful video's, with so much gorgeous footage of Scotland, the farms you visit, and the animals. I just love your channel 💝💞
Love the knife. I tried watching other "hoof specialists" and their knives that hardly cut make it almost dangerous. Like my husband who's a chef says , a dull knife is more dangerous than a well sharpened one , since you have way more control over how you work.
as someone who's only had dull knives, when I actually got a sharp one, I had to relearn how I used knives, lol. Having to fight with your knives as a norm made a well working one require a wholr-relearning process. many of my kknives are very old and havent ever been resharpened
If you see someone having trouble cutting hoof horn with a knife, it's most likely not the knife. I have seen A LOT of videos from several hoof trimmers where they say in commentary, "You might think I'm having trouble cutting this horn because the knife is dull, but this is a freshly sharpened knife. The hoof is just that hard."
I love the energy and commitment to help these animals! My father was a milkfarmer back in the day and I am sure that he would have loved to have such a passionate person taking care of his cows! 😀👍 Also I love, love, loooooove the scottish accent! ❤❤
I love watching these videos. It's actually relaxing and it's nice to learn. I like how you talk and interact with everyone around you. Plus, you care so much about the animals. I really appreciate watching your videos it seems to calm me down.
Watching you work reminds me when I used to watch my dad work on his sheep. We had a ranch in Colorado, USA. It is so calming and brings back such wonderful memories of being with my Dad.
Good work. Almost sixty years ago my parents rented an old farmhouse on a huge animal husbandry farm in Maidstone Ontario, near Windsor. There was a herd of dairy cattle. Their mooing was just blissful to me. I am almost deaf now, and wear powerful hearing aids with Bluetooth. When I watch your videos, I can hear the mooing again. Your videos are so well done. Thank you.
hey dude. love your vids. never thought i would find cow hooves so interesting. i am also, from the south west. always nice to see some scottish youtubers
Nice to see the whole family along today. I grew up on an Angus farm in Indiana, and love that you make the cattle your ultimate priority. Too many do not, and speaking from experience, those folks there should hold onto you as the gem you are to cattle care.

No, when a video is first uploaded, UA-cam take a wee while to render it in high quality, so when you get to a video straight after it's uploaded, they're usually only available in 360p for about half an hour
@@NiaJustNia I have never found this to be the case...at times I get a notification and click on it just seconds in and it is in full HD...
Watching your videos helps me relive my love for farming and the animal careers i have always wanted to do and had done. Over the years ive had to let that part of me go and i hope one day i have an opportunity to go back but for now i can just enjoy your videos and remember my years and memories of farming.
I LOVE THIS CHANNEL! I watch it all the time and I just love that you help all these poor cows\bulls, it just makes my day
What more could you want from a day? Educating the herd, improving the life of the bull, and entertaining the family. That was a wonderful ending segment.
It's admirable to see someone who knows what he's doing. I learned that the hoof can grow horn as well as the head.
In addition to the great job you try to do to help these animals it’s easy to see you are also a loving dad
Watched many other trimmers and by far you are the most entertaining
@@Kyle_116 yeah, no, they are not pasture cows/ It's not hardened hooves.
nice knife!
Really digging the sounds of the barn during the trim. The sounds of the knife adds to the enjoyment.
You are truly a mix of a vet, a mechanic, and an artist. God bless you for fixing the hooves of these animals.
I love the energy and commitment to help these animals! My father was a milkfarmer back in the day and I am sure that he would have loved to have such a passionate person taking care of his cows! 😀👍 Also I love, love, loooooove the scottish accent! ❤❤
Yes thank you for sharing wonderful memories of your Dad. I am so grateful to hear of true goodness in this world! 🕯️
Your Dad was probably one of those rare and amazing men who treated his dairy cows with loving care.
@@janaelliott9321 yes he had one of the 10 most productive milkfarms in Sweden back then 😀
WOW in Sweden? That's wonderful! 🐄
@@janaelliott9321 yes it was 😀❤🌺
Hoof GP Family Cameo! Hello. Man, that is a HUGE hoof.
UA-cam threw this up for me an I've become hooked on this channel, it's seriously satisfying to watch...
❤👋🙂🇦🇺My maternal grandparents were from Southwest Scotland - your accent reminds me of them. Thanks for sharing your life with us ❤
You’re blessed with a lovely family! Keep doing good in this world. Thank you for the videos. You’re a wonderful dad.
Didn't realize how he knew there was an issue until I noticed that the horn he was removing was flexing and bending before the knife cut it...
Animal welfare is really important to me. Thank you so much for caring for these cows and bulls. I'm sure the farmers appreciate your work as well!
LOVE seeing your beautiful family!! ♥️♥️
The shots of the boys on the swing looked like something out of a movie! So beautiful!
There is something therapeutic in watching these videos! Thanks for sharing!
This is why I love the internet. Getting to see and learn about different occupations and people. So cool! Way to go helping those animals :)
When Mr. Parker shows exactly HOW MUCH muscle it takes to be a hoof doctor. My arms are sore just watching you 😬
Thank you.
I love the face on this big guy. I'm glad you got him on a good day.
hey dude. love your vids. never thought i would find cow hooves so interesting. i am also, from the south west. always nice to see some scottish youtubers
Have you come across ''The Sheep Game'' channel...so funny...he is also from the South West Scotland...he has fans from all over...hi from Perthshire.
God bless you for the way you seriously care for these cows and bulls.
Nice to see the whole family along today. I grew up on an Angus farm in Indiana, and love that you make the cattle your ultimate priority. Too many do not, and speaking from experience, those folks there should hold onto you as the gem you are to cattle care.
Love seeing the whole family!!!! I know wifey is shy, but she looks great! 💚 (Surrounded by handsome devils everywhere)
Poor bull. He was in so much pain. Thank you for helping him.
Glad to see gorgeous Mrs. Hoof GP, and the adorable redhaired “hoof trimming’s”! Sorry couldn’t resist that 😃. Great job on the “Giant Panda” 🐼!
A lot of pandering fixes the problem.
