No they used the smaller version of Corrupted Merged Zamasu from earlier in the saga before he gets super big and bulky that is 100% correct to what he should look like when first becoming corrupted

Zamasu grew over his Corrupted form. He became bigger and Bigger in anime so being smaller is not innacurate.
