I can confirm the service from Power Cutlery is lightening fast, I ordered on a Fri. and had my knives on Mon., shipping on my 4 knives was $3.75. Give this man you support if your looking at budget knives, you will be happy you did.

Got a FH12 from power cutlery today, for the money and what you get it's a great little knife very reminiscent of the Douk-Douk in style i.e. a simple,no fills, low cost pocket knife.

The Ganzo Firebird FH11 seems to have a revision. The older ones look like yours with no Left Holes wrecking the show side. When I purchased mine a couple of months ago on ebay. I noticed a customer picture showed holes and No firebird logo on the handle. I sent a message to the seller and he said the new ones Contain holes for Lefty's. Maybe you can confirm this with Power Cutlery since he might do a high enough volume to have seen these changes. I shopped around and made sure I got the Hole free version.

Woody Balto I’ll check it out. Hadn’t heard about left hand carry on the FH11.

    • @SteveKluver

Yes. The first batch to power Cutlery, was for a right hand clip-mount only. On the Ganzo Firebird FH11. In early feedback on that knife. The lack of a left-hand clip version, was mentioned several times, by those who handled them first. The duplicate Firebird logo on the one side, was also brought up. So right away, in their second run. They changed those parts of the knife.
I too shopped around, and made sure I got the left-hand, hole free version. I think I got the last one too!

Great! One of the more annoying things I've noticed about the G-10 version is the side to side flex of the blade due to the lack of handle material around the pivot. Unfortunately this flaw undermines both confidence in use and any feeling of a solid build quality. I usually don't mind the added weight that comes with an all steel knife so will probably picking one of these up soon! Thanks LTK.

  • @SteveKluver

Though I've only had mine, for a day.
    I might have noticed later!

Mine arrived, perfect. Real early lock-up though. But after a day of using it, and playing around. It's settled into a very reasonable position now.

The only problem is the steel rusting, not much, but if water with acid (from vegetables or fruits) gets into the bearing, and it is located in a milled cavity on the blade, there will be corrosion. And it will be difficult to clean with plain water because of the grease.

I couldn't do jack with my left hand either, until I shattered my right wrist a bit over 20 years ago. Brother, it's a royal pain learning to wipe with your off hand!
I took the time to learn lacrosse fundamentals, and got almost as good left-handed as with my right. Because I nearly learned both from scratch.

The G10 version has a much better contoured handle, CF version is just a straight slab,,, doesn't feel half as good in hand as the G10 version,,, why Ganzo ? Why !!!!

      @Yudi.Hilmawan 3 роки тому

I guess you're not that smart because you enjoy being fooled by American brands into buying their overpriced products.
If chinese brands can make really good knives at affordable prices then they can make even better knives if they make knives for the same price as american brands.
Thanks to European, American and Japanese companies moving their manufacturing processes to China in the past now China already has the ability to produce goods as good as other countries but they still have an advantage in terms of cheap labor.
People like you can only whine and criticize because you can't accept the fact that many Chinese brands are able to provide good products at affordable prices.
