Not me getting emotional while recording again...!! This week's Twitter poll chose soft angst, so here you go~! I had actually been sitting on this concept for a while, so I'm glad I was finally able to do it... no matter how sad it was to record...!
Given his lore, I've always assumed Venti must have a very complicated sense of self, but it looks like he finally trusts you enough to open up about it~ ♡

Another part of me wants to see another soft angst, of us telling venti of seeing and talking to his dead friend, him first not believing us but then we tell him something that only something them two would know (no idea on what it would be tho) and then he kinda breaks down but thanks us. I've stuck to calling him Himmel Carmen Dei because of it. Both names work well for him.

this is one of the many reasons why i love venti. at first, his intentions were sweet, somber, intended to be respectful. but as time goes on, he’s started to enjoy being human for once, being himself, accumulating a new life brimming with more personality, more habits, more things that he’s made his own. he loves life more now, but he wonders if he should be punished for it, because what he has now was not all his before. what he has now has different intentions than what it originally has. the line between respectfulness and honor, and selfishness and disrespect, is now blurred. it’s not that he wanted to take everything from Nameless. but now, he wants to keep it, and make his life his own. be noticed. talk to people. do things he couldn’t do before.
venti is such a complicated and intricate character, and this is only half of the reason why.

I was just listening to the song "The Moon Will Sing" and immediately thought of Venti and the nameless bard. The lyrics, especially the part where it said "I shine only with the light you gave me" is fitting to Venti's perspective because he thinks that he only shines through the identity of his friend that he "stole" :(((

I loved this audio, there’s just so much to say. First off omg- We met his friend in our dream. Second I almost cried cause Venti is just so frickin sweet and it hurts me to hear him upset. Third is just… wow. I cannot express how much your audios never cease to amaze me.
Hearing Venti saying that he feels like he stole his friend's identity....but he didn't. Venti may look like him, sound like him. But he acts different from him. I know this, because I just visited the MBTI site, and I see that their MBTI types are different. Venti: ENFP. Nameless Bard: INFP. I kinda see the nameless bard as a more serious and reserved than Venti. They have similar ideals and intentions, but their methods and habits are different. And maybe due to the nameless bard being born human while Venti was born a spirit, I see him being more inherently flawed/imperfect than Venti.

'I didn't tell him that day. Not because he wouldn't believe me if I told him, I just didn't it was needed. I only met the bard for a few minutes, but I learned several things. He cared for Venti and he's honored to have his best friend live on his legacy, of that I'm sure. I was always aware of Venti's sensitive nature, so that wasn't a surprise. He doesn't have to worry, even before he told me, I always intended to watch after Venti, but now......I'm even more motivated to do so. Cause despite them being similar in some ways, the one I love, and will always love, is Venti'

Rewatching your videos again brings back so many memories. I’ve always enjoyed listening to your Venti audios. I’ve even listened to your others as well. But I just love the way you can explain his character. The way you put emotion into each and every line depending on the words. The storyline. Everything is just so amazing. The way you were able to portray that he has that guilt of taking his friends form and using it as his own life is just amazing. The way you included the bow detail is just amazing.
