I fell in love with the Silver for the X, because the back looked very premium, and it finally had black bezels. I love my Silver iPhone X.

You’re lying. I had a matte black 7+ and was going to go with silver this year because it looked premium. After seeing space gray in person I went for that color and I dont regret it - it has a grey chrome due to the stainless steel and the reflections look which is super classy.
I had an I phone 10, and it was supposedly water resistant. My dumb self thought is was water PROOF and went to the deepest part of the pool and went all the way to the bottom. Somebody had the same phone as me, and put their phone in the water millions of times, and their phone survived. MINE, HOWEVER, chose NOT to be water resistant that day. I took a video under water, and that was the last video I ever took on my space gray iPhone 10.. I took it out of the pool, it had a big glitch line down the screen, so I turned it completely OFF. After that, it wouldn’t turn on at all. So we decided to put it in rice. The next day, it didn’t turn on. The next day--It- Still turn on. So I got a new iPhone 10, a white one.

I appreciated your video a lot. It made me change my online order to the silver. I love space grey and have it on all my past and present iPads and past phones. I ordered the space gray without even thinking about it. Upon seeing Your in-depth video, it gave me some sudden clarity I didn’t realize before. This space grey is too dark for me and if I do use a clear case, it would lose its wow factor for me. I also don’t like the extra fingerprints. Since it doesn’t have the white bezels, I can concentrate on the back more. The silver suddenly popped for me. I was able to cancel the space grey and order the silver before it shipped. Thank you for doing what you do.

Had a Space Grey but the black coating they are using scratches and almost 'flakes' with normal use. For that reason i switched to Silver and am much happier from a looks/longevity/finish standpoint. The black truly looked GREAT while it lasted though.
I took a look at both today at the VZW store. The metal trim around the silver one looks sharp, along with the bright trim around the rear cameras. The trim around the rear cameras on the space grey version looks more gunmetal to me. I'm now leaning on buying the silver, though I like the space grey back better.
64GB is an ancient capacity, 256GB or nothing!! My 64GB iPhone 6 has been full for like 2 years. Mind you I have 40GB of music, GBs of games, and even if I use icloud for photos I load the phone up with TV shows and movies (I don't pay for any streaming services - prefer local content that doesn't need network access).

I will be using Renaissance Wax/Polish (aka Ren Wax) on the back of my iPhone X as well as the face of the added screen protector. I have use this on all my iPhones since 2007. It definitely works to help keep fingerprints and smudges to a bare minimum.
I suggest that you buy the color that fits in your lifestyle, for example you love wearing black, space gray is definitely fit to you, you love wearing light color shirt, silver is the best fit for you, but at the end of the day, you still gonna put cases on them so back color doesnt matter at all
