I love how the bosses were essentially Yōkai. An Oni, a Jinmenken, a Tsuchigumo, I think the final boss was Ningyo because catching one being storms and misfortune and when they’re beached it is an omen for war and/or calamity. I also liked that Daidarabotchi. More games should do stuff like this. There’s so many Yōkai that it would be fun to have a whole young adult video game around fighting them. You know, like with Nioh, but with other different genres of games.
