Jim Clark - by far the greatest driver ever. No doubt. (Fangio and Senna about Clark)
Clark at the wheel was a lot beyond racing: A dynamic art on the highest level - he was the Mozart of the sport. Above all, he was the perfect gentleman and just a nice guy.

He died the week I got my SSCA license for Formula Ford. I was devastated. There is no doubt, he had that special quality few people possess, not just as a driver but as an icon ... And from all I have read, a great person too.

Sir Jackie is a wonderful, humble, great man in every aspect. And his crusade to improve safety in racing is nothing short of heroic. Sir Jackie's efforts have saved many, many lives, and he should always be remembered for this, as well as his brilliant racing.

Tom Purves talks of the day at Goodwood TT1959 Jimmy co drove the Tojerio Jaguar with his hero Masten Gregory and was faster, realising he did really have the talent to make it in the sport..

Masten Gregory was Jim Clark's hero? That's a bit remarkable given the fact Gregory was know as a crasher when Clark would have been a fan. Also he would jump out of the car if he thought he was going crash, twice injuring himself bad enough to end his season....and he was an American.
Do you have any idea why Masten Gregory?
