Rachel Maksy for future reference you can make stencils for your look on paper using a ruler and pens and cut them out to use as guides and it helps make the piece look a bit cleaner
I actually really love the fact that the head and neck pieces aren't 100% straight or symmetrical. It makes them look like an illistration, which creates a cool effect.
This looks like you had so much fun! That intro was so captivating and I felt immediately immersed in that 1920's party/Gatsby atmosphere! 👌❤👌❤ You are so creative; it's incredible to see these transformations!
I honestly thought the headpiece and collar were actual jewelry at first glance and had to do a double take. Fantastic! Also! Quick question. Does the Nyx eyeliner last all day instead of just melting off your face? Much love
Thank you so so much my love! And yes it stays all day!! I'm so excited cuz I was using Stila eyeliner which is like $20, but made the switch to this which is half the price and works just as well! Doesn't smudge and actually took a lot of scrubbing and soap to get off my neck/face 😂😂

I love the minimal approach, but there so much attention to detail. You really captured what art deco is about with the power of make up. It's incredible! I am in love. I am too a fan of vintage style, but because it is so elaborate I really don't practice it much. I do enjoy watching others get into it. Keep it up! Looking forward for new looks
I just rewatched and reread Gatsby in my film studies class!! It's so lovely and such a classic and going to a Gatsby party would be so heckin' wild. This makeup is SO cool and made me want to do my own interpretation of it!!

All of this is just a Big Fat Yes™️ little anecdote: Anytime someone mentions Art Deco (aka no one) I just remember the old Disney Parks documentaries that were on Netflix and little kid me legit watched the disney cruise documentary almost religiously. The two oldest ships (forgot the names lol) had a lot of Art Deco inspiration and pieces in some of the main parts of the ship lol. anyway this look is super cool! i love how you just kept adding more and more on, i’m wayyyy too lazy for that lmao.
