Idk how KI did it, but gold keys were once completely free and available to anybody and everybody & now its 9-5 job you need to get it

You also don't need to farm 100 keys to get a single good drop. This system is objectively better, yes you will only be able to get a few keys but they are guaranteed to give you a very nice amount of spellements/drops.
with 10 keys if you rotate between 4 different people you can get 40 runs off, and you don't have the stress of a timer on your head for 2 hours.
the only way this could be any worth to me is if i could do 40 runs+ of a boss in 2 hours which is almost impossible for most bosses
You know looking back i can say with a clean heart I've used around 200 gold keys to farm Omen in Polaris for free mounts back in the day and now if i have 6 gold keys on me I'm lucky 😂
I used 200+ free keys for a rasputin triangle deck because i didnt have a membership but could enter omen
wish it was easier to get gold keys
The problem is even worse, when I farmed takanobu with my guild we were getting a ton of gear drops and spellements but only 1 azoth tc drop each time meaning we didn’t even make 1/8 of the azoth used back
even as someone who doesn’t do raids, i still keep up with this stuff

Been saying this for soooooo long, have some sort of trading system that both people have to agree that alllows us to trade gear with others like tc trading but for gear (I get that those who just grinds will just trade those that barely play and KI wants more play time, but then have some limit where the game has to deem it worthy of a trade, such that a crown item of 170 can only be traded with another crown item of 170 something along those lines)

They can have a new character in the guild give a new reagent from what can be considered "guild only daily assignments" where the guild will do daily assignments to gain new reagents to craft the school specific azoths.
I just did this with my guild with 3 groups of 4 and we individually each got upwards of 200 spellements, I was able to unlock every single new spell from Takanobu and we only opened the gate for 1 hour.
im very happy that yall were able to coordinate that! did the person crafting the recipe have to have 5/10 keys to make the key?
@@AwesomeTheSauce yeah they had the keys for it, and most of us agreed it was worth it to use a raid portal for the takanobu spells and gear

also it's worth noting, each run requires 5 energy from each player participating
The raid gold keys are too expensive for what they can provide. Drowned Dan takes like 15-20 minutes as well Simply the value proposition is bad.
I mean key trading would be nice but you can just trade the azoth to the person with keys, have them craft the 1 hour or 2 hour gate key and give them privilege's to unlock it. We used this yesterday with 3 seperate teams running a 1 hour key I would say each team got at least 20 runs and my team got 30.
I like what they did, however I feel that 10 Life Azoth (for example) is quite a bit. I do think that if the Guild takes advantage of the gate, it makes it worth it for the 2 Hours.
I love the new wizard101 I feel like back in the day I loved pvp now I’m way into pve the new dungeons farming etc is just a whole new aspect of the game
Which the trading system it could be similar to tc trading cards, but it will tell u where/how rare the item really is
The wooden key boss in wizard city is way less worth than the new lvl170 gold key boss
it kinda makes sense that u need extra azoth for it but maybe they should make every school azoth a recipe hmm that would be better
Players tear through content and now KI's answer to EVERYTHING is "go grind for infinity of something". Drop rates for housing items are ridiculously low. Then, azoth farming takes a lot of time. There are so many days that I feel as though I've not made any progress towards a goal, that I get frustrated and simply log out. I thought we were all supposed to be having fun.
