I think that colorful skirt would look great with a bright pink top!
And I think its fun to dig clothes out of your closet that you never wear - it can be like finding "new" clothes and then you have the fun of putting together new outfits!

Here’s a content idea: take us into your closet more (literally) and tell us your thought process. Show us the process of you picking out an outfit for one of these prompts, similar to what you did a couple times in this vid and also your styling subscribers outfits, but I’d love to see it within your own outfits too! This could be applied to a lot of things. Even closet organization, interesting different categories/collections (Winnie the Pooh, Disney, Harley D), or again your thought processes for any type of video. Or maybe a closet analytics video where you talk about common themes, colors you like the most, what type of style pops up the most etc. I love your outfit videos (and all your others) so I think your closet would be so interesting to peek inside of!

I'll never get over the trauma of being in middle school during the low rise jeans era. No kid going through puberty should have to also worry about their underwear sticking out and their growing hips muffining over!

The new low rise is better tho, it’s low rise but not as low as the 2000s. Bad memories.

The little denim dress is absolutely adorable! You definitely look like a doll in it. Also the wavey dress turned into a skirt is everything. Because you made it look edgy with the graphic tee and black! It was definitely a vibe!

  • @jhayden-cm4yx

You mentioned in this video that you wanted your outfit to be exciting and inspiring and not simple like pairing it with jeans, but I think there can be a place for that in your videos too! For example, most people probably don’t own a leather blazer. I love being inspired by your outfits but that does not make more “realistic” or “attainable” outfits any worse, i think it would actually help appeal to all sorts of people!

I think the wavy dress would look super cute on you as a 2 piece, it’d give it a whole new life! That way, you have a matching top if you’re feeling up for it, or can still style the skirt alone with something cute like the Nascar tee! I adored that pairing, it made the pattern resemble flames to me! Also, you’re like the queen of denim & any sort of denim dress, skirt, overall, etc. on you is everything!!!

If you were to try low to mid rise jeans again I’d suggest getting a baggy pair instead of a tighter pair because it’ll be more comfortable and you won’t be hyper focused that its lower. Something like the Abercrombie 90s low rise baggy jeans would look so cute with a longer baby tee!!

Fellow low rise hater here. I found one pair of jeans I loved in mom's wardrobe- light wash flare legs. However, I had no idea how to style them for the longest time because of the low rise. I finally came up with an idea and I love them now. I ended up pairing them with an untucked white button up and a corset top over it. The button up hides the low rise and with the corset it feels so me. And it's not a boring outfit either, which was my issue with my previous attempts. I'm so happy I figured out a way to love the jeans!

I tend to gravitate towards low rise jeans because it’s is easier to find them with flares baggy legs at the thrift store. I also absolutely hATE how the waist looks on my body but that’s why when I’m styling them I tend to gravitate towards oversized t shirts and hoodies and sweaters just like you did here. I only own about three pairs because the baggy leg is long enough to bunch at my feet where as it’s rare I find jeans that do that for my height. (I’m 5’9)

I think you should try a red or purple toned look with the patchwork pants, because the deeper/warm brown reads sort of reddish on camera. I think it would be helpful for you to try to step out of the “brown toned” mindset you got a little stuck in. (I get stuck in the same way all the time)
Maybe don’t think “brown tones,” think “Earth tones” and remember just how many colors the Earth actually is.

If you make the bright long floral skirt into a drawstring waist instead of replacing the elastic it would last longer and always fit :) just a suggestion as it does change the look and fit at the waist and some people really prefer elastic for comfort.

This video is an argument in favour of even non-YTers filming themselves trying stuff on. Look how happy and animated you look in the denim mini dress versus the clingfilm white one! Such a 'tell' of whether we’re gonna reach for something to actually wear it in the future.
Also a good help with the low rise jean thing could be a bodysuit! Though might not be super comfy either.

    Two things with low-rise jeans
    1. Embrace the whale tail

I tend to pair my low rise skinnies with a blazer with 1-2 buttons, then a belt with an interesting detail, a fitted top underneath tucked in and that's the outfit. The jacket has to be on the shorter side, maybe hipbones or slightly lower lenght, and fitted. This outfit is the only one I like with low rise 😂😂

for the low-rise jeans, maybe you can try them with a bodysuit of some sort, so you still feel like you're covered + then you can layer on top of that as you see fit to play with silhouettes etc.
