  • Finally, I find the best recipe to make fish cake. Oh my god, unbelievable! It is so simple!
    Ingredients:
    4lbs tilapia fillet
    4tbs fish sauce
    30ml fried shallot oil
    2 tbs sugar
    2 tbs chicken powder
    Garlic powder, onion powder, and dill
    1. Choosing raw and fresh tilapia fillets. The fresher fish, the more delicious fish cake.
    2. Washing fillets by cool or cold water, then dry fillets by napskin.
    3. Cutting fillets in small pieces, relax them in fridge about 15 minutes (to keep them colder), then put all them in a grinder.
    4. Seasoning the paste with fish sauce, sugar, chicken powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and dill with amount above.
    5. Use the fried shallot oil makes the fish cake a good flavor.
    6. After seasoning, use a wood spatula to mix the paste until they are smooth and non stick. This process take you about 10 minutes.
    7. After mixing, devide the paste into many small cake, then deep fried them in medium fire. You will get a juicy, smooth fish cake.
    Fish cake can be steamed or frozen before using in many good dishes like noodle soup, rolling, and stir fried.
