MTA , NJT , PATH also have Rail Car Maintenance who do what "machinist/engineers " do for less money 10x much work . Kawasaki and Kinkisharyo build and maintenance the train/rail cars . No one never talks about rail car maintenance when passengers hear you work for mta, njt or path they assume you're making big money and that's not the cast ,it is a dead end job .
