this specific vhs tape killed me i like to think it says a bit about lisa's personality... a young sweet kid who just wanna play tea time w/ her dad, i think she would've been a really sweet person if she didn't go thru so much
@@Thrackerzod8 crap, at least brad and marty would be good people in the end, brad would not use joy and marty would be a good dad to both buddy and brad
What you said could be true, another possibility is that, considering how "innocent" this song seems to be, it could also symbolize a Lisa's desire to be pure, it wouldn't be out of place considering the level in which "Love" plays, which is a place where almost everything is white and it's said that usually white symbolizes purity, let alone the fact that there're also flowers around said place.
Thinking about it, what if Marty also saw Buddy as his “second chance?” He does show signs that he has changed for the better, even though what he did was absolutely unforgivable, maybe he thought he could do good and prove to others that he’s no longer his younger self.
he also seem to still drink booze a lot as the island is littered with empty bottles so it's not quite clear. Altho I think it was on purpose showing us that he *could* have changed but we have reasons to think otherwise. At least he warned Buddy about taking Joy
Uncanny how something so simple can bring back vivid emotions.

Nothing remains.

I don’t feel bad about what happens after playing Lisa the first
If Marty saw Buddy as his "Second chance" that wouldn't be about changing himself
Painful in more ways than one
catharsis
*noun*
the process of releasing, and thereby providing relief from, strong or repressed emotions.
Example: Tossing glass bottles at your abusive father who once upon a time did so to you.
You know shit's about to get real fucked up when you hear this song
