Such a cute card Dawn, thanks for making it so easy to follow .I really am a big fan of your cards, they are always a little bit different ,and this one is just too cute .
Dawn I definitely get 'two for the price of one' here because I love critters and I love 'fun folds'. Thank you so much for this demonstration I absolutely adore it, from the masking to the finishing touches. :O)
More than likely Dawn fussy cuts the images because the dies leave a little bit of a border & when using them for a mask you don't want a border otherwise you get a halo around the images.
Dawn I love your tutorials, your cards, all of them are just beautiful, I would love to own some of the items you used in your videos, but they are little bit expensive for me, do they have any specials that I can take advantage of it? Thanks in advance, have a great weekend!!
Stampin' Up continuously has things in their clearance rack and From January to March they'll be having their annual Saleabration...where for every US $50 spent you get to select free utems from their Saleabration catalog.
The dies give you a bit of a border around the stamped image so if you used the die cut images for the masks you'd get a halo effect when overlapping your stamped images which you don't want...fussy cutting them allows you to cut directly on the stamped area so that you don't have the halo effect... letting the images look like they're directly in front of or behind the others as intended. Hopefully all that makes sense.
Hi Dawn. This was such a cute card. I used the tunnel to make an anniversary card for my husband and he loved it. I did run into one problem that I hope you can help me with. I got all score lines according to your measurements and thecorners lined up perfectly when I put on the adhesives. After the card was folded closed I found that the point in the center was crimped. Any suggestions would be appreciated as I would love to do this technique again.
Best suggestion I'd offer to keep the score lines from crimping is to make sure that they're scored & creased well before attaching the layers to each other.
Dawn I just wanted to tell you that you are a wonderful teacher! Thank you!

Dawn why couldn't you cut out the post it notes with the die cuts?

Dawn is there a reason you use the bone folder instead of the score "blade" that comes with the cutter? Cute card
Joy, Great question .I just like a deeper score line that the bone folder gives me that's all
