Another great item. The first one I make will be for me!!! I love how we can customize this project. And thank you for fast forwarding when you do repetitive moves. Another jewel tutorial by Natasha that goes into my personal Treasure Box.
Loved this idea for keeping Christmas gift records! Your videos are always inspirational!! I really appreciate how much info you put into a reasonably timed video. You clearly convey the process without showing every little step taken!! Thank you!! Love Saturday mornings!! 😀
We run a non-profit and this is a great gift idea to give to those who donate to the free meals and volunteer their time to serve. I've done some journals, but journaling isn't for everyone. This item is perfect for anyone. You can include some premade labels with different topics and include them so the recipient can use whichever items work best for them...so practical :) Thanks. Oh, I was just starting to watch the original video that you linked and her papers reminded me of all of the wallpaper sample books that I have. They would be perfect for making the envelopes since they are so strong, flexible, and tough to tear or damage...plus most tapes or stickers will pull off without damaging the patterned surface. I've got one book totally deconstructed in another room, so lots of papers ready to use. The beauty of it is that there are borders that match the basic patterns. So many possibilities. Thanks again.
I will definitely make that for my shopping trips, so useful and cute. I can also use such booklets as money or gift card holders (Christmas will soon be here). (5:31) Thanks for that side note, showing an alternative way to construct the booklet on those small envelopes and explaining clearly why the method you presented as the main one is superior (because yes, it is less messy, drastically important point). (13:42) - useful trick to make more space inside that glued sleeve (fastening of the notepad). (17:18) Also thanks for providing evidence to why applying glue to the back of already sticky sticker is a good idea.
This is a great idea thank you & has given me inspiration for something to make for my mother who just got diagnosed with breast cancer. The diagnosing Dr was giving her lots of information & things to pass on to future Drs & it made me think of a folder I could create for her that will be beautiful & keep all the important information together, like a copy of her medical history, her medications list, a pocket for the USB’s for scans, a little diary for appointments & to record symptoms, a questions pocket where she can slip in questions as she thinks of them, the cancer treatment plan, a business card holder for the various specialists, Drs referrals, a slot for some tissues & a pocket for loving notes from people to help keep her spirits up, and of course a notebook & pen. That way, even though I’m thousands of kilometres away, I’ll still be with her through every appointment, but will be providing something useful too.
Oh, I like this! Now I have to experiment and see if I like it better with envelopes or with scrapbook paper. The paper has the advantage of already being open at the "top" and not needing anything trimmed off anywhere else, plus the envelopes I have access to have glue on the flaps and that last flap would need to be dealt with so scrapbook paper would be easier that way as well. Sure has me thinking! 😊
Yay! It is Saturday morning with you, Natashi! I love your projects & how well you teach each one, giving choices on how to complete!....& so pretty as well. I am about to make a birthday card for my grown son. This will be great to include pictures of him & family over the years + pictures of things he likes. I so appreciate you & your creativity! 🥰
Hello! I love this project. Additionally I really appreciate how you always say to, "use what you have". You are so cool and your work is beautiful and inspiring. Thank you for sharing your talent.
Very clever and I can think of a number of uses. I will use old business cards with flaps. And this fall I will not open the top but glue the envelopes openings. And I will use it for fall and Thanksgiving cards. I may use the little notebook idea so people can use that for their Christmas card list. Thank you so much you always inspire me
Great! I like the idea of making my own envelopes because they would be sturdier like yours. I made a little coupon holder for a friend and she really seemed to like it. Thank you!!
They look so cute, Natasa! :) I've watched a lot of videos about the budgeting method with envelopes and I think you could use the organizers for that method, too! Like, if you're saving for different things: One pocket for clothes, one for crafting supplies, one for beauty stuff, one for electronics... Of course you could only use bills but... It'd work. And instead of a budget binder you'd have your own personalized budget organizer! Maybe I'm the only one who thinks that'd be a cute idea but I do love it!
Natasa, you’ve done it again! Such a great gift idea for friends, and myself as well! Thank you for brightening up my Saturday with wonderful ideas! My creative juices are flowing with how to make this personal for friends and family. 💜
Love this Natasa, great idea for receipts, notes, reminders, etc and for pressies. I love your humour and how you inform us of different ways & ideas. I follow a couple of others, but seriously you are definitely my go to, for tutorials, ideas and fun!😊
Brilliant! My favourite all things craft, art, beads, creative supplies, dried/silk florals, baskets, ribbon, wedding supplies shop that was a major wholesale supplier to Lewiscraft, Michael's, Dollarama, Dollar Tree, flower shops & small business owners in Canada, just sold their warehouse last Monday 😳🤯😪 . I discovered by fluke on Wednesday. It HAPPENED to be open by special arrangement and even though I was not the one who called to get special treatment and don't have my membership anymore, she recognized me, and let us in while waiting on the ladies who called!!! The "sell off" (not a true $1 clearance but wayyyy reduced) side was as amazing as usual. I scored! Not all deets are finalized, there is A HUGE amt left that will not fit into their retail store so there will possibly be a special blow out inventory sale for past members and email list subscribers. It will definitely be worth it. I just got pkgs of plain envelopes with no cards coz of some of your ideas. This is now added to my list of brilliant ideas for envelopes!!!!! I've been shopping there for 38+/- yrs. It's the end of an era!!
Thank you, Natasa. Firstly l love your humour and the way you explain everything but with no worries attitude. I follow a couple of others who do similar things, but you are definitely my go to, for many reasons. Ideas, explanations, humour etc. I’m going to make some for pressies. Thank you😊
I made one of these a few months ago and decided to make one for every month to keep me organized and to stop me from overstuffing...lol.. thank you for being so beautiful and so creative for us!!
Great idea Karina!! I've been thinking if I can make my personal accounting and filing obligations more creative and fun, perhaps I will keep up with actually DOING them!!!!!!!!! 💕
Great idea! I will make these for all the grandchildren and their spouses! Most are independent and/or in college, so it will help them organize and prioritize things! It really looks like something I can do without spending tremendous time on each, and depending on the size, they b CB oils be gift card organizers, and I can put gift cards inside for stocking stuffers! Thank you so much!
Love all your ideas and videos. I do look forward to them. I wish you had more per week, but I understand. Im sure you are busy. Thanks for the inspiration my dear.
Actually, I have been looking for something to keep my car maintenance receipts & log in. This will be perfect & I can keep it in my glovebox. Thank you. I love all your tutorials.
Saw the original video also but your work is much much better than that. The creativity done by you is more . So a big round of applause to you 👏👏👏👏👏. Thanks for sharing ❤❤
Too funny. I was at my local craft store and I am losing receipts left and right I came home and your video which is perfect was on my feed. I thought you would like a little feel good chuckle.
Hello hello…. it’s gorgeous! I’m doing a ‘happy mail’ bundle of useful things for Xmas for my non crafty friends and relatives. These will most definitely be included ❤❤❤
Tyvek would really increase the durability of any book type project. Here in the states we can get them from office supply stores as well as Amazon… I have watched all your videos on junk journals. I have been making mini albums for years however only a few journals… your such an inspiration… ❤🇺🇸✌️
What a fantastic idea! They're gorgeous! I can imagine doing Christmassy ones with gift certificates or fun "coupons" for home made meals - kind of like a loaded gift card that they can reuse. Very COOL! Thank you!
Hi! I love this idea! I was watching your video because I wanted to make something for me and my boyfriend. He's in the military and over seas and we're writing each other back and forth. I was looking for something to hold our letters in a cute/thoughtful way. I'd love if you made a video explaining how to craft and go about that!!
Natasha, Honey, I watched you make a shopping buddy then started the vid over and made two with you for the (say it with me) church craft fair in November! You're a gem. Love you sweetheart, XOX, MK ❤️🤗🙈🤗❤️
Natasa, you are so talented. The process of your tutorials is amazing. Beginning with the view and explanation of the item, written instructions, time, inspirational ideas, your voice the way you teach ..... I wash them all from start to finish... Your channel is one of my predilect ones.
👋 What an amazing simple and beautiful idea for storage whatever 👍🏼! I love it how simple and useful it is. Thank you for always sharing your magnificent ideas ❤! Greetings from Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 The Enchanted Island 🏝
Thank you for another amazing, simple yet beautiful, use whatever you’ve got creation from Treasure Books! I always love your videos, and your down to earthness
Hi!! Thanks for adding the link to my video... you did such a good job. This was one of my favorite that I designed, I keep one in my car at all times!! big hugs, Elsa
Hope your having a lovely weekend Natasa !!!🥰🤗 what a cute little organizer. I absolutely love it and yes , it would make for a cute gift for sure 🥰 crafty hugs gorgeous !!
When I first saw all the pages in this all I could think was "This is too small for the Year (because you included TAX as a category)". But for out and about use, this is a good portable size. I would just need a larger one with 13 compartments for each month, or Type/Month for each thing. The 13th compartment would be for the yearly totals. Like MEdical, I went to the doctor after a fall recently, I got a printout of what they did, and a business card. Pocket on the back is great for a business card. When you get home, you can transfer the debit card transactions into your checkbook register, if you're the kind of person who likes to balance a checkbook. IF you need the receipt for someone else to return a gift you got them I used to just carry an envelope with me for holiday shopping so I kept all the holiday receipts in one spot, along with my gift list in the same envelope. So I'd use this for going out, and then transfer the stuff into a larger receptacle to organize at home. I wish there was something to track finances dealing with a divorce. Not just finances, but child visitation and any bad behavior on anyone's part. So much to track with a divorce it's ridiculous. For taxes, i'm not sure if business people can still deduct miles driven for their jobs or not, but different people need different things. My old planners I would buy had space to record meals, miles, and hotel accommodations, I think for people to get reimbursed from their company for business travel expenses. So each day, in the back of that months planner, there was a ledger page with the dates down the left side, and columns for each category. Totals at the bottom. Then you would take those monthly totals and put them into some kind of annual page. It's hard to decide to organize by category like you did here, or by month/date. Groceries for example, could be broken down by which store you shopped at, and/or HOW you paid for them, debit, check, credit etc. I used to work with Database programs for work, and many things are better suited to a database. With a database maybe you could scan in the image of each reciept, business card, printout, and so on, and then file away. Later you can search for all transactions in June, or every Debit card use, or everythign associated with housing, or transportation, and so on. You could search for all transportation expenses in September. You could search for anything over a certain dollar amount. Maybe you pay health insurance with a check sometimes, and other times with a credit card or debit card, but the amount is the same, or the name of company is the same, if you put all of that into your database, at the end of the year you should be able to pull up all your medical expenses for the year, prescriptions, glasses, driving, copays etc. Paper organizational systems would need multiple copies of the same documents so it can be found in each folder that it might apply to.
this is such a wonderful idea - so easy and so pretty - will be making a few of these for the holidays - i know my sister will love it - thank you Natasa 🤗🤗
You are so creative! Love Saturday mornings and your videos!
