- This video is a full tutorial on chainsaw carving a tree. Chainsaw used is Echo CS-400 with a 14” Oregon standard bar and chain. Finished with a 4 1/2” angle grinder and 36 grit grinding disc. Just wanting to show how to take these two basic tools and carve a really cool piece. I really enjoy carving and sharing my passion with all of you. I hope this video was helpful in getting you started in the right direction. Please like and subscribe to the channel for more videos like this. Please be safe in these times of trouble. As Always “Let’s Carve Together”. Thank you.
Your videos improve dramatically every week! Great video! If you watch your first video and then watch this one, you’ll see how much better it is now. Keep carving! Carving is an activity we can do during this corona crisis. Everyone needs to maintain social distancing, the best way to keep people away, is to stand there with a chainsaw running. Nobody hugs you or shakes your hand when you’re holding a running chainsaw.
Very true. No one runs up giving hugs when the chain is spinning. Thank you very much for the support and I can’t say that enough. 👍 I hope you, all our families and the community stay safe and healthy through this. I will keep the videos coming. Again Thank You very much for the support.
You're a cool guy. You're teaching me alot as I've been learning the tricks of it on my own, but you're big help, im gonna try a tree tomorrow. Awesome stuff.
Thank you very much. I hope your tree turns out good. Send some pics if possible. Again thank you.
I look forward, to when you’ve got a bazillion subscribers, I will be able to say that I’ve been here since the beginning. My buddy has a forge and welding shop and he made me a branding iron for my carvings. It’s awesome. I will send you a pic later of the brand. I have to do a carving to repay him. His shop has a pirate theme. I’m thinking about carving a treasure chest with a parrot sitting on top. Or maybe just a big skull and crossed bones from a pirate flag.
You are right my friend. You have been here since the beginning and have given me hope and excellent comments to keep me focused on what the committee wants to see. Please send pics I would love to see the iron. I too have traded several carvings. My best trade was a lion head on a pedestal for a hand drawn portrait of my son at the beach as a present for my wife on her birthday. She says that was one of the greatest presents I ever gave her. I do hope you are right about the bazillion subscribers. That would be awesome. Again please send pics of iron and thank you so Much for the support. Let’s all stay safe and best wishes. Thank you
I sent the branding iron picture to your Facebook page
Seen the pic and commented. Replied through my wife. Really liked it. Very cool to brand your carvings like that. Like I stated earlier I love to trade for goods. No need to swap $$ when we can trade skills.
