This video will help you to understand the point where one needs to steer when dealing with junctions, and then when to straighten the steering after making the turn on junctions. It explains the theory side of the things and then it shows how it’s done in practice.
Every corner is different and so the point of steering will also be different. You must look at the turn and decide what kind of turning is this the one you are dealing with. The steering will depend on whether the turning on the junction is a sharp one or is it a long one.
The reference point to steer at junctions is when the kerb starts to bend, it is when the road starts to turn and that's when you start to steer. If the turn is sharp then you steer a little quickly and if the turn is long then you steer a little slow.
After you steer to make the turn then you wait for the vehicle to turn and once the vehicle is nearly straight then you start to take the steering wheel back to straighten up. Many learners in the beginning make the mistake of waiting too long to take the steering wheel back. They wait until the vehicle is fully straight and then start to straighten up, and this makes them go towards the pavement. You start to straighten up the steering wheel when the vehicle is nearly straight and by the time you have straighten up the vehicle should be straight.

@@DrivingTV i am learning nearly 1and half years still not ready find very difficult you teach very easy and clear my my instructor don't teach me like this what do I do now shall I leave her or not please can you give any advice every week i went lesson she took me same area most of the time and same thing when I am asking she told me i have no confidence but I feel i can control sorry i can't speak English very well i am from Bangladesh
Learning to drive not everyone enjoyes and for some it's easy and for some it's a little hard, but eventually everyone learns. My advice don't lose hope and keep working until the day comes for you to take the test.
Your Instructor is very important and you must feel comfortable and that you are learning from them. If you feel you are not learning from them or feel you are not comfortable then it's time you change and go with someone you feel comfortable and learning from. It's nothing personal - it's your time and money and you must feel that you are getting what you are paying for.
