I got distracted again, and then when I said I am watching this...I knew soon after why I was getting distracted. I can't tell you how many things you set straight for me in this one lesson. In 1985, on an average morning, I woke up audibly hearing the words, "Seek ye first the kingdom of heaven." I was a catholic & delving into other religions (Eastern religion, mysticism) searching for a deeper understanding of God at that time. He called me and saved me that morning. I immediately bought a bible, read it through and was so convicted, that within 3 weeks I removed myself from my living situation & the relationship I was in. After reading the letters in the New Testament, my eyes were opened, and I was so upset that I was living in complete opposion! EEKS! Incidentally, two weeks prior to my experience, my classmate's wife was "born again,"and I remember feeling sorry for him to have such a religiously fanatical wife! Well, I didn't expect to be "born again" yay! -never turned back from this wonderful mercy!
It's so good to know that God speaks to us, I'm amazed.. I pray Father God helps me to remember my dreams, I'm a dreamer but lately I can hardly remember them..

Hey brother, It is also critically important to test the spirits when it comes to our dreams. Yes, the LORD does speak through dreams and visions, and the enemy also sends false, counterfeit dreams and visions to wreak havoc on our lives. We MUST be discerning/test the spirits.
I feel you. When I saw the "wreak havoc" part, I was thinking those crazy dreams just to mess with us. Like trying to create unnecessary fear in us or worry about something that isn't even going to happen. I've been having more weird dreams with mostly the same themes lately and I don't want to just assume it's God warning or preparing me. It may very well be my own doubts and fears being exploited. Right now, I pray in Jesus name, that God removes any fear and doubt from my heart and mind, and dream life, fill me with more of Him and His constant reassurance & security, and bless me with sweet sleep with any dreams being either fully of Him or none at all. I was awakened from a deep sleep one morning from hearing the word, "PREPARE". I literally jumped out of bed looking around the room bc I heard it so clearly. I remember asking, "Prepare? How do you mean?!"
For me it is rarely audible. It's mostly heart to heart. When I have heard God speak with me audibly, it's difficult to describe in human terms but I'll take a stab at it. Again I'm speaking from my own experiences. It's a male voice, always very calm yet strong, at ease yet with full authority, like a gentle firmness. A still voice. It's always the same, though the tone may change based on what He's communicating to me. For example, if He's comforting me the tone is even gentler. If He's warning me or convicting me about a wrong voice I'm making, it's more firmer/ stronger. Yet it's never abrasive or harsh. I hope this helps. I pray that God Almighty reveals Himself to you as He knows best. And further, that God pushes out any voices trying to mess with you, which clearly are not of Him. In other words, to fill you with so much of Him through His precious Son Jesus so as there is no room for any other voice for you to hear. Hope this helps. May Grace and Peace consume you. How come I have prayed and asked to have conversations with the Holy Spirit or God many times to no avail? I can’t even hear God speaking to me audibly.
I would suggest that you ask Him to simply reveal Himself to you in the ways that He knows is best. In His way and in His time. Many times when I've heard from Him, I wasn't necessarily expecting it, though I knew it was possible. Sometimes I was asking questions. Sometimes I was faced with some choices and needed direction. Sometimes my mind wanders off track and He'll say something while setting me back on track. (Like a bad memory filling with details, then I hear "that's where you were, that's not where you are." Then I realize what He's just said and I take a deep breath in my heart and mind and am able to see & enjoy what's right in front of me). At other times, He just knows that I need some of that constant reassurance that it's gonna be alright. So just pray for Him to simply have His way. To guide you, assure you, and reveal different aspects of Himself to you however He sees fit with clarity. I hope all this helps. Apologies if I got too wordy. May Grace and Peace consume you 🙏🏽🙌🏽✌🏽🕊

@@vincentn2786 All I can say is that when it happens to me, it's crystal clear that it isn't me talking to me. It's hard to describe in human terms, so I'm not sure how to explain it in a simple way. It's usually in response to an question I've asked in prayer (a clear answer in black and white - no gray), or when I'm going down a wrong memory lane (redirects my focus while assuring me is a memory and it's not where I am now) , or when I'm making a clearly bad decision (a loving chastisement with warning of consequences). Not only in those circumstances but just a few that come to mind. It is abundantly clear that it's not me. I know my own inner voice (as it's the one that talk me out of exercising and making healthy food choices) 🤣 Our conscience, if trained by God and guided by the Holy Spirit, can be a great asset as well, but I don't see it the same as actually hearing from God. Just trying to describe it better to help. Just ask God to speak to you in a way that you know without a doubt is Him and there's no doubt about it. He knows you so intricately that He knows exactly how to reach you as an individual.
Shabbat Shalom, amos chapter 3 verse 7 regarding the man in your bed. My own son was killed at age 12 Paul Roland Pierce of Fitchburg, Massachusetts. Currently, I'm in a nursing home y he visited me using symbols of the major theft i would endure here. This disgusts me since the co owner is a Jew from New York. My own people grieve me, just think of what their doing to the holy spirit y how their consciences are seared. Us messianic Jews are a rare commodity. 👍🇮🇱 I tried to reason with one of his Jewish business associates about illegal activity y he wouldn't even greet me on the Sabbath a Friday during the day. His own prayers will not be heard by Jehovah. Jews are suppose to be the epitome of righteousness, a beacon of light in a dark world not collaborating with the gentile world in matters of dirty business. I never met crooked Jews till recently. When God speaks to you, what does the voice sound like? Old or young? Male or female? Or is it your own voice? Is it undefinable? Unrecognizable?
I have been hearing my name being called at strange times lately, by different types of voices, sometimes male, sometimes female.
