Then there is me, a coop player that does pretty well but ends the first phase with less than 50% hp and gets sniped at the start of the second phase before I even loading in.

Played against her in co-op (cause I didn't have the domain unlocked yet) for the *first* time with Ayato and *somehow* didn't even get hit *once???* There wasn't even a shielder or major healer, I was so confused 😭

Even my first-timing is of a pro capability, since I use my Furina HP-Drain team, involving Neuvillette, Furina, Baizhu and Kaedehara Kazuha.

Me? I’m someone who didn’t do her 2 story quest and never came to that boss fight. I have the team ready, this yes, but I’m too lazy for it
My first time fighting the knave, she killed my 3 characters that is well built while i also have arlecchino at lvl 60. My kazuha clutched the fight with 25% health and others are DEAD 💀😭

For the love of god please bring a healer, long hair Furina is just as op 😭
There is another type. The ones that are good at dodging (like lore accurate Childe, they try to find a challenge to themselves, but not risky like 1hp beidou), and knave boss is too deadly even I as neuvilette main, learn to dodge her (even during charged attack, she can mostly attack when neuvilette has 50-80% hp, which is 15-30k hp, while knave is capable to doing 15-25k damage with one strike, basically making even tankers feel like glass cannons)
Yep even with C1 Neuvillette I still dodge cancelled the charge atk to not get hit, Afterall I am not in a rush lol, just kill her slowly... Whatever I should thank Furina for improving my dodging skills bcz somehow I am very alert when my characters are half hp lol...

A skill obtained by training to avoid certain attacks without getting hit. The masters of dodging is often respected by players of Genshin impact, as these ones are capable of winning a boss fight without getting hit even ONCE (famous example is wallenstein, who created the famous 1hp beidou vs raiden fight), or dark soul players, who are known for their patience and impressive dodging skills
